I'm in the same situation except I have agreed to get tested. Not sure if they will find that acceptable. But the company is between a rock and a hard place as we have many federal/military contracts.
35 years in my company without a sick day (seriously, I never call in sick) and with excellent to outstanding annual performance reviews throughout and I stand to lose my job over a shot of experimental "vaccine".
Nobody is irreplaceable but my company is sure to miss me if I go away suddenly. I was planning to retire in 5-7 years and groom a successor (I'm in an executive position).
If enough of us stand up to the tyranny and force ourselves to get fired, I'm thinking that's the only way we can prevail. Corporations will realize that if they are to keep their top talent, they need to resist as well. If we meekly submit to the shots in order to keep our jobs, I'm afraid this is only the beginning of our enslavement.
I can retire now from the workforce if I want but that will mean the rest of my life reading library books and eating canned beans. Good luck to you.
If I can't, I'm ready to close my doors and find something else to do. I'm not really in a position to retire, but I have no qualms about working as a landscaper or driving a truck for a living.
Retirement is an option for me...not one I want, but better retired alive then jabbed and dead or disabled. There is another wrinkle lurking. Biden is going to try to make receipt of social security and medicare benefits contingent on being vaxxed. No vaxx, no benefits. Have retired, no medical insurance from the employer, no medicare is a tough spot.
So are you going to get the vax?
Just wondering.
