Rolling Stones drummer Charlie Watts dead at 80,

Charlie Watts, best known as the prolific drummer for the rock band the Rolling Stones for more than half a century, has died. He was 80. A representative for Watts told Fox News Tuesday that the musician "passed away peacefully in a London hospital earlier today surrounded by his family." No cause of death was given yet.

Sorry to hear this. I saw the Stones in concert a number of times. Watts was a good drummer, always keep a good, solid rock beat. RIP Charlie.

wow 58 years. That’s longer than many of their fans have even been alive.
The Stones have to be setting records for longevity. They have been big stars in parts of seven decades — the 1960s, the 1970s, the 1980s, the 1990s, the 2000s, the 2010s, and now into the 2020s.
