Dr. Anthony Fauci quickly walked back his prediction Monday that in one year, by the fall of 2022, the United States can get control of COVID-19.
During an appearance on CNN, President Joe Biden's chief medical adviser offered an apology, claiming he misspoke and meant to say that ideal is within reach by the spring of 2022, but only if people holding out on getting vaccines decide to get the jab.
"No, Anderson, I have to apologize," he told anchor Anderson Cooper. "When I listened to the tape, I meant to say the spring of 2022, so I did misspeak. And in the conversation with Mary Louise Kelly, she was saying, when do I think we can get some control? I said if we can get through this winter and get really the overwhelming majority of the 90 million people who have not been vaccinated, vaccinated, I hope we could start to get some good control in the spring of 2022. I didn't mean the fall. I misspoke, my bad."
Earlier, on NPR, Fauci made the comment about the fall of 2022. He said it was contingent on widespread vaccinations, a contentious issue lingering more than eight months after the jabs became available to the public, as the more contagious delta variant causes a new spike in cases and health officials push for booster shots.
"If all things go the way we want them to go," Fauci, longtime director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, began in a quote aired on CNN, "and we get really the overwhelming majority of people vaccinated. I think as we get into the fall and winter, we could start to really get some good control over this as we get back into the fall of 2022."

No law gave an unelected biden a stolen seat in the oval office.

Biden remains in that seat of power in spite of the fact he is not coherent in his mind and does not know what he is doing. It is a continued assuming.

Indeed. It’s incredible to think that anyone in the world would put any faith in someone whose prognostications about covid-19 have been proven wrong time and again. I know that even a stopped clock is right a couple times per day, but if Fauci predicts that covid-19 will “under control” a year from now, it’s pretty likely that that won’t be the case.
I’m not surprised he would say this, and make sure he corrects it to “Spring”. All of this is timed to lead up to the mid terms with a “victory”.
First, at the end of the year we will quit using the PCR test. The inventor of the PCR test said it’s not meant for this. The WHO said after the election that they were using it wrongly. There have been estimates that a great percentage of these tests showed false positives.
Then he says this.

Given the mandates that will be put into place, it’s possible he could reach that goal. However, I’m not putting any money on it.

It’s only “might”, ...”start” to get, “some” control, ...by next year, ... and only “if”, others comply with orders, ...but I “don’t know.” Same game that he has been playing as before. You can bet when Spring rolls around, he is going to say we have to keep going with the masks and vaccines.
