I think you are correct and said this many months ago here.
There will never be mandated vaccines. Just nowhere you can go without them.

We are vaccinated and taking out of state guests on a day cruise in a few weeks.
Either you are vaccinated or you wear a mask on the cruise.
Not so bad because at least unvaccinated people, and one of our guests is that, are welcome.

But it will be major popcorn time to watch this unfold.

I will not get vaccinated any more. Took the Pfizer 1 and 2. Husband and I both got covid. He got his antibody infusion yesterday, and I will get mine tomorrow. We had been careful not to be exposed, but his brother's adult grandson brought it home. They did not have the bad symptoms. We had it as bad as if we didn't have the vaccine.

They have done just that in NYC. Started with the health workers, now it is all government employees—PLUS they have now required all restaurants and gyms to require vaccination for indoor dining and gym work.
