You think this Administration cares about that? Yes, if Trump were in charge, I'd be confident that they would be vetted. But we know the Democrats will let in any warm body.
But I'm not sure accepting women and young children from almost certain death/slavery is something we should be calling out Republican Governors for. I guess I'm in the minority here. (I'm 100% against accepting military-aged Afghan men unless they are verified terps).

I know all I need to know about the Afghans. The males have no desire to defend their country. But again, I will never think accepting women and children who are legitimate refugees is a bad thing.

Governors have a fair amount of power in this country, and if a Governor with an R next to his/her name coordinated with a charity to fly a bunch of women and kids here I just don't think that's worthy of impeachment.
Re: The Squad. A bunch of loud-mouths who will never actually affect any policy of consequence. But they were elected by their constituents so they have a right to be there. And make no mistake, there are members on our side of the aisle who are just as loud-mouthed and worthless as the squad, IMHO.
I think all on the list are ‘Rats in every definition of the word.
Assuming their numbers stay few. But keep importing Turd-World scum, those numbers will increase, and they will have power.
It’s basically the “Huckabee-Effect” where Huckabee was releasing violent felons in Arkansas because Huckabee knew that they’d accepted Jesus and no longer had violence in their hearts. It never occurred to Huckabee that they were faking it, even after the felons got ‘back to work’.
This isn’t any different. These GOP governors are CONVINCED that any Afghans coming here will be so THANKFUL for being ‘rescued’ by us, that they would NEVER harm this country...and this is the mindset that also blinds them to being able to fight the Left - they’re CONVINCED it’s not possible to hate America if you’re born here and raised here...just not possible. And it’s not just them, it’s plenty of us - after all, most people here STILL send their kids to public schools, DESPITE what they read about them. Same blindness.
