Common Pleas Court Judge Paula Patrick ruled that Philadelphia's decision to remove a statue of Christopher Columbus was 'without any legal basis'
The city's arts commission, historical commission and city council decided to remove the statue following last year's protests against police brutality
Attorney George Bochetto, representing the Friends of Marconi Plaza, said his clients were 'ecstatic' - they now seeks to remove the box obscuring the statue

Columbus is more appreciated in Spain than America. Here is the statue of Columbus at the harbor in Barcelona. Contrary to what many people think he isn't pointing towards America or his home town of Genoa, just a random direction that made it look best when they erected it.
Here is his tomb in seville:

Finally a sane judge in Philadelphia/ It’s DA Krashner is a hardcore Soros Marxist price and some of the judges there are just as bad.
Never like that when I went to school there. Chief of Police Rizzo didn’t let any of this statue vandalism/removal happen. He was one mean-assed Italian and the people loved him for it.
There was also a black female judge named Anita Stout who was out of this world, a no-nonsense law and order person who was loved by the black community for putting criminals in jail, not out on the street.

Unfortunately, the city will just allow the statue to be destroyed by so called peaceful protestors. Hopefully the Italian American community will do what they need to do to protect it as they did when the crap started.

I see from your post that she ran, but was not elected? That’s a shame. But she apparently did not become bitter as a result. Hope she runs again.
