President Joe Biden plans to spend Wednesday pivoting his priorities back to the coronavirus pandemic, even as thousands of Americans remain stranded in Afghanistan.
The president plans to meet with his coronavirus team in the Oval Office on Wednesday afternoon, according to his schedule, before delivering remarks about the pandemic at 4:30 p.m.

My perspective is limited, but in the blue part of Ohio, I see no evidence of the masses beginning to understand. The local news is filled with fear porn, and interviews of people wringing their hands.
With all that is going on in Afghanistan I wonder what is going on in Haiti after the earthquake.
Must watch movies, about civilians trapped behind enemy lines.

The pivot will certainly work with the press and the suburban wine moms who form a core constituency of the Biden junta.
But they have a problem that those people know nothing about, because they’ve never met the families of the 750,000 American soldiers, airmen, marines, NSW operators et. al. who had deployed to Afghanistan over the past 20 years, much less those the guys themselves. But in the deplorable red counties, and even scattered among the deep-blue regions, there are tens of millions who have children, grandchildren, nephews, freinds, neighbors or did themselves deploy, and all of those people are really pissed off.
We’re not going to be so easily distracted, and there are a handful of Rep. pols who understand this, and one hopes, will push back.
We’ll see.

Carter shut himself up in the White House “To be one with the hostages.”
Hope Biden does not do a Jimmy Carter type of “rescue” of the hostages.
And now there are reports of open political conflict between the Biden and Harris camps. Stand way, way back! 😲
