When I was in DC for the January 6th shindig, I noticed a sea of South Vietnamese flags held by those who had lost one country to communism. There were also anti-CCP Chinese there. I would hate to see the good people of Taiwan who have hosted such men as Alexander Solzhenitsyn and who have given their factory workers up to five times more spending power than workers on the mainland, face an invasion. But given the difficulties in crossing that much water if the Taiwan military have the will to make a fight out of it, and given some Murphy’s Law within the CC operation, Taiwan just may be able to turn back an invasion.
They don’t even have to convert them. The first few thousand navy vehicles in the flotilla will be “civilians” who are “migrating” from one province in China to another province in China, and the US will not do a damned thing about it. If we fire on that civilian sampan navy, they’ll all have CNN uploads and the PR nightmare will be worse than 1975 Saigon/2021 Kabul.
