Letting Trump supporting military getting killed off is probably part of the plan.
Just read that the French Ambassador left a few minutes ago...either he’s fleeing too or there weren’t many French citizens in Kabul and they’ve all been evacuated.
So all the embassy staff and the contract workers and other US civilians in Afghanistan probably had no choice but to stay. Six months ago, six weeks ago, six days ago, six hours ago, whatever. Even if they wanted to leave they would not have been authorized.
So now they shelter in place. Waiting for the beheading. Hopefully it will be a “peaceful beheading”.
Could very well be. I hear China has already recognized Taliban as leaders of Afghanistan.

The concept of “shelter in place” assumes whatever is causing the crises is a temporary event.
What is happening Kabul and the rest of Afghanistan is going to be a PERMANENT event. All the “shelter in place” directive does is to make the Talban’s execution/hostage taking squads job easier!
Unfortunately the time to leave Kabul and Afghanistan was NLT 1 February 2021; shortly after the Biden administration took over.
Me? I have been studying Islamic terrorism sine 1979 as part of my duties in AF Special Operations. Our leadership, both in and out of uniform, have never had a clue on how to deal with Islamic terrorism. It is a GENERATIONAL long effort which everyone, on both sides of the issue knew back in 2001.
Gen Michael Flynn said, in his book, something about how terrible Obama’s policies in Afghanistan were. Mike Flynn knew firsthand of the frauds of 44’s policies. That is why Flynn had to go.
On 9/11, IIRC, announcements came over the PA system to “shelter in place“. That is bad advice if “the place” is about to come crashing down.
The USA is the most obese country in the world except for 11 island nations whose total population is less than 1 million. You would think that the CDC would have encourage people to be proactive in improving their own health and immune systems. Instead they just said ....wear a mask and stay home.
Y’all forgot about staying 20 feet apart and wearing rubber gloves filled with hand sanitizer...

At least the French Ambassador announced that he was staying until all French citizens had been evacuated.
I can remember a time, albeit quite a while ago, when no one would dare to harm a hair on the head of an American ambassador. Now we have an ambassador who leaves behind 100s/1000s of his fellow Americans to fend for themselves.
It’s tragic.
But I guess that’s what you get when you have an embassy flying a gay pride flag above the American flag. Shameful.
