Except the percentage of whites voting Republican keeps going up and the percentage of Latinos, blacks voting Republican keeps going up as well.
President Trump had a higher percentage of white votes than most recent Republican candidates and incensed his share of the Latno vote too, especially in Texas and Florida.
They left out white Latinos.
Still wasn’t really close when it came down to winning. And it’s only getting more extreme.
Yes, I see Brazil as the best hope scenario. All the #’s going to blacks and natives, with a tiny amount of whites having a lot of money.

Again, you are another person forgetting about Asians, who have grown faster than Latinos over the past 10 years and vote heavily Dem.

The word “Hispanic” encompasses a large population group and can include those who are actually entirely descended from European ancestors. It also could include any so-called Hispanic person who has one great-grandparent of color-African or Amerindian. In the USA there is a large group of persons who have less than a quarter African ancestors, yet they are descrobed as non-white.
I have a grand-niece who married a man who would be described as African-American. Yet, his father is white, born in the UK, and his mother is part African and is from the Bahamas. Their two children are very skinned and the boy could easily pass for white [and why not, since his is much more white than anything else?]. The daughter has a bit darker skin and has some soft features which look like some African ancestry. She would be classified as African-American - yet she is only partly African ancestry and she is not African-American, since her grandmother is African-Bahamian.
Why on earth are we still assigning group labels on people who do not fit those labels?
And then there are people whose ancestors came here from India. They have darker skin, yet these people are actually Caucasians.
Most of the more recent Hispanic immigrants don’t seem much like Cruz and Rubio in their politics.

Hispanic is a culture, not a race.
Most Hispanics ARE white, and like whites from other cultures over the past centuries, they integrate into the mainstream culture quite well within a generation or two (and many times the immigrants themselves do it - none of this waiting until their are kids or grandkids born here).
My wife is from Mexico, and is thus Hispanic. Technically, my kids are counted as Hispanic, since they are 50% Hispanic (though born here). My wife is so white that she pretty much glows in the dark - when we lose electricity, I have her pull her pants down so that I can find the flashlight (well, not really, but we joke about it). She became a citizen in 2005, after being here for 6 years. She is so integrated into the mainstream culture that she has told me that the only reason she would ever go back to Mexico is to see family and tourism.
Unless you’re seriously ill right now, I wouldn’t bet on that...

Yeah, with them we can win 8% of the Black vote instead of 5% and maybe 30% of the Hispanic vote instead of 25%.
Not in the slightest way. I have worked in China and have some experience with them, both there and here in America. There is a limited number of points one can cover in a single posting.
I am also well aware that "Hispanic" is not a race - it is an assortment of very different ethnic groups, many of whom despise each other.
For that matter, Blacks in America can usually find that 40% to 70% of their ancestors are Whites. Race and ethnic compositions are way more complex than skin color.
But politics boils all of that down to a limited number of stereotypes. Blacks, Whites, "Hispanics", "Asians", French, Germans, English, Polish, Irish, Spanish, Italians....
The divisions all have some arbitrary boundaries which could be transcended in a healthy political system. But we don't have that any more, and it is not coming back.
Racial or ethnic factions matter now more than they have in a long time. The reason is that our demographics have passed a critical tipping point where the leadership elites are no longer competent to rule over the resulting population and the economic prospects for everyone are looking worse every year.
Everybody is reaching for a slice of a shrinking pie.
