The U.S. Senate on Tuesday voted to pass Sen. Tom Cotton’s amendment in the budget reconciliation package that prohibits federal funds to be used to promote critical race theory in schools.
Christopher Rufo, a senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute who has been critical of CRT, posted that the Senate approved the amendment in a 50-49 vote.
"The fight against CRT has gone national—and Sen. Cotton is leading the way," he posted.

Peelousy will never allow that to get through the House.
YouTube saying Manchin voted with GOP
Fine, then nothing passes.
Manchin is refusing to go along with the commies.
Thank you WV and Sen. Joe Manchin.
He’ll vote for it when the bill comes back around in reconciliation. He’s got his head-fake for the evening news in W. Virginia.
People have been loudly proclaiming how Manchin and Sinema will fold and go along with the Rats.
It isn’t happening.
They didn’t go along with the nationalized election fraud bill and they are not going to rubber stamp here either.
Try to keep up FRiends, put your white flags of surrender away.

Perhaps Senator Cotton can explain how his amendment prevents school districts from simply using State/local/grant funds for CRT and tagging their federal cash as going for something else. Will the R’s give the Dems something substantive in exchange for keeping this meaningless gesture?
What a joke! Foolish Republicans ... I guess he didn’t read deep into the stimulus $1.2 trillion 2000 page bill to find hundreds and millions of dollars signs are to pay the teachers and unions. So this little bill that he passed is a total laughing joke! Pelosi and evil Schumer are celebrating , laughing and popping the cork off the bubbly behind closed doors. I despise the Republicans at the hill I really do. Sorry to say this all of them are worth diddly squat. And the number one sinister evil Republican McConnell ....Bastard needs to retire already.
They’ll find a way to get CRT funded. They always find a way.
“When you get back from LA LA land look at the history of issues like this.”
I’m back and the national election fraud Rat bill failed. Until then, you’re the one in LA LA land.
Smarten’ up!
A victory but Senile X won’t sign
Joe Manchin is a snake.
Joe Manchin votes the way that will most benefit Joe Manchin.
Good. Every step forward it a win at this point.
Cotton's a good man.
“It will return in a few weeks and by then the blocking Senators will have gotten paid and it will sail right on thru with those same senators telling the voters back home that they voted against it.”
Disagree. I’m looking forward to Sinema marching up to the podium and doing a little bow saying, “no.”
Manchin has put the line in the sand. He’s not backtracking.
Just as neither did on the national election fraud Rat bill.
