Biden will send in the US AG to arrest all Republicans who participated in the arrests of the DimWITS. Then FIB Dir Chris Wray will fly the Republicans to an undisclosed location to waterboard them all as the FIB tries to figure out who the White Radicals are behind this Texas insurrection.

I’m originally from Vancouver Canaduh. Years ago, there was a front page article from one of our leftard newspapers called the PROVINCE and it was a story on why the TEXAS RANGERS were operating on Canadian soil, aside from the fbi, cia etc. They were arresting a dude from TX who jumped the border into BC and was assisted by the RCMP.
It pissed off a lot of canadians on why American agencies such as the Texas Rangers can operate with impunity on “sovereign” canadian land lol
None of them are getting paid - because one of the bills they walked out on is the one that funds their and their staffs’ salaries. Ooops.

This is a soft legislative arrest, being apprehended and brought to the legislative chamber to force a quorum.

Until a quorum appears, should the roll call fail to show one present, no business shall be transacted, except to compel the attendance of absent members or to adjourn. It shall not be in order to recess under a call of the house.
They don't even have to vote once they get there, they just have to be there. Once the vote is taken, the "arrest" is over.
The reason they are in DC (or anywhere out of state) is that the "sergeant-at-arms or an officer appointed by the sergeant-at-arms" does not have jurisdiction to arrest outside of Texas. Since this is not a criminal arrest, there are no extradition laws in play, either.

The last time I reported for Jury duty, after sitting waiting about an hour, the court clerk came in and said that “She’d never seen it before, but all defendants on the docket had taken a plea.” She sent all home and said we didn’t need to return.
Does this mean a citizen can arrest them, even outside of Texas borders? For example, if the flee to Cancun, can Ted Cruz intercept them there and haul them back?
