If they set policy, and the policy, racist as it is, is to NOT educate students, then we should be able to not educate kids a whole lot cheaper than we are doing now.
Oregon Governor Kate Brown has made it impossible for shortchanged students of any ethnicity to sue their school districts for failing to provide a viable education. The school districts are now only responsible for giving students a place to show up on weekdays.

Oregon Governor Kate Brown and the Oregon legislators who passed this bill have no redeeming social value other than to be charged, tried, convicted, and sentenced to publicly hang for blatantly giving aid and comfort to the enemies of the United States. IOW, people of color are too dumb to learn.
So, let’s let them graduate with no skills or education that would have benefited them in the real world. That would put them further behind than they are now, but then, democrats never really cared about blacks or other minorities. It’s all about keeping people ignorant and dumb and clueless and, mostly, DEPENDENT on government, since it’s dependency that forces people to vote for the freebies.
Hubby taught Jr Tech College for 20 yrs in Memphis where grades are Not earned, his students came from the county, foreign, future Cisco teachers, Math, Electronics, Computers. Memphis students had to take Remedial Math, not the others, most Dropped out as Remedial Math was to hard.
20 yrs career USN taught same stuff in A/B School when onshore. 20 yrs Prof ended up as Dept. Chair. Contract Military teacher for A/B school after he Retired, while earning his teaching degree.
How will graduating illiterate and innumerate students help anyone?
So....in the future when they don’t get job advancements like everyone else, it’s due to racism, eh?
Dorothy figured that out in the ‘Wizard of Oz’. If you can’t give someone a brain, give them a diploma. It clearly doesn’t help a bit. It just groups the ones who deserve a diploma in with the ones who don’t. Don’t hire anyone from that school.
