The Delta variant of the coronavirus overwhelmingly remains the dominant strain in the United States, but the Lambda variant has started getting attention in recent days.
Like the Delta variant, Lambda is highly infectious and thought to be more resistant to vaccines than the original version of the virus. Though much remains unknown about the strain, there have been some alarming characteristics detected by researchers.
At the moment, the Lambda variant has been mainly spreading through South America after first being identified in Peru in August 2020, but cases have been seen in Texas and South Carolina. Fewer than 700 cases of the Lambda variant have been sequenced in the U.S. out of more than 34 million coronavirus reported cases, according to one estimate. However, the U.S. has only sequenced a small amount of its cases, so the actual number of cases associated with the strain may be much higher.

How can they determine which variant is which, since they have admitted the ‘test’ could not determine the COVID from the regular flu?
There has been nothing but misinformation, wrong information, lies, deceptions, flip-flops, etc., since the original cases began.

Tired of this crap. People need to stop thinking the govt. recommendations are the solution that will save them.
Wish people would start researching and taking care of themselves with vitamins and minerals. I realize that some people do become ill because of age or underlying issues but the majority will survive.
These days, I envision the snowflake clowns to rush to the doctor or ER for every little pain.
And then there is the “midterm variant.”
We know Newsweek is full of shit.
This one is EASY to explain. Look at Europe. “Delta levels are peaking, and/or have started to decline”. WE’RE NOT READY FOR THAT YET HERE! WE NEED A NEW VARIANT! (And bring us one that’s not widely seen in other places, so that we can claim it’s REALLY REALLY bad here, we need to mask up, and lock down).
This is on the assumption that the variant is real. I know there are no tests that can differentiate between the flu, the ‘rona, ‘rona lite, ‘rona Delta, etc.

They forgot Epsilon, Phi, Gamma, Eta, Iota, and Kappa, which are in between Delta and Lambda.
Lambda will enter the US over the southern border. Then DHS will bus it all around the country.
From my extensive research on the subject, one is spiked with chili peppers and the other is cooked with curry.

I’m now under the impression that the covid vaccines were purposely engineered to create these new variants; it seems that the majority who are getting the delta variant are the vaccinated.
I’m sure Dr Fubar and the Jabberwockies will save us. 💉💉💉
