But just stick with deaths alone. Assume a middle ground of 0.825% IFR. Assume ~80% of the population gets COVID-19. 80% of 330 million Americans is 264 million infected. That’s 13.2 million hospitalizations and just under 2.2 million dead. When you say “why were THEY in a rush to vaccinate”, you understand that includes President Trump, right? And why was President Trump trying to get people vaccinated (and still is today)? In his own words, the vaccines “will save millions of lives”.

Agreed. This is not about hoping for people to get sick to prove a point. It is about the government compelling healthy people to inject something into their body that is unnecessary, using the government’s monopoly on force as a threat and then as a punishment if one does not comply.

Well, they did have one. It’s the same vaccine they have today. It received an Emergency Use Authorization from FDA in December and it’s about to receive a full BLA from FDA. Yes, it’s a real vaccine. Yes, it was a real vaccine when it was injected for the first time in March 2020.
As I stated in my original reply, the first vaccine doses were given nearly a year and a half ago, and those who got them are fine. So there is no reason to think things would suddenly change for people who just got their COVID-19 vaccines 7 or 8 months ago.
