Washington D.C.
Offices of the Chief Medical Examiner submitted a request to cremate Jan. 6 Capitol protester Ashli Babbitt two days after gaining custody of the body, according to documents obtained and released Tuesday by conservative watchdog Judicial Watch.
Babbitt, an Air Force veteran and San Diego native, was fatally shot by a U.S. Capitol Police officer as she attempted to climb through a broken window of a door to the Speaker’s Lobby, a room off House chambers.
Among the 1,160 pages of documents obtained by Judicial Watch is a Jan. 8 application to cremate Babbit’s body that is labeled "completed successfully."

Are the Capitol Police concealing evidence of their own crimes?
Imagine that.
So there’s no body.
This reminded me of Justice Scalia being cremated the next day. Just odd.
What if she was pregnant and they didn’t want that info out.
There’s no way he can do this without the husband’s consent.
Possible, but I think her husband would have brought that up.
Seems like the Examiner needs to be broiled as well! Hopefully, God will damn these evil people!
She couldn’t breathe.
Curious about the family’s overtures, the lawyers statements concerning culpability... no mention that she was supposedly cremated. Why wouldn’t that be part of the national discussion? That’s a big #ing deal.
*I very much doubt that Ashli’s husband Aaron Babbitt consented to his wife’s cremation. We need to know. There’s no way he can do this without the husband’s consent.*
OK. So where are the ELECTED republicans on this issue? They’re cowards.
Curiouser and curiouser.
God doesn’t damn anyone. We damn ourselves.
Since when does a medical examiner make the decision to cremate the body of a person who is not indigent and has living family members, including her husband? I thought that was a family decision?
No way legally you mean.
How much did they pay off the husband?
The state owns your property as well as your life and body. It’s becoming more apparent every day.
Things don’t add up.
Why the rush?????????????????????????????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Precisely!
>> Since when does a medical examiner make the decision to cremate...
When the questions arises: “Who killed Ashli?”
My response: “The undertaker”
