ABC News panelist Margaret Hoover said on This Week with George Stephanopoulos on Sunday that the government should require patients receiving public health care — including Veterans Affairs care — to be vaccinated for coronavirus.
Hoover, who hosts the Firing Line on PBS, used that example to show how the government should make life “almost impossible” for the unvaccinated:
If you are going to get government-provided health care, if you’re getting VA treatment, Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, anything, and Social Security, obviously, isn’t health care, you should be getting the vaccine, OK, because you’re going to have to — we’re — we are going to have to take care of you on the backend. So there are a lot of things we can do without calling it a mandate but to just make it almost impossible for people to — to live their lives without being protected and protecting the rest of us.

More of a financial one. I get a med four times a year. $12,000+ each time in the real world. Thus..... 😊
SO PROUD OF YOU Margaret Hoover. You enjoyed a great American priviledge, a right of CHOICE over your body. Glad your choice was to vaccinate and protect yourself and others. NOW, let the rest of us make a choice NOT to do what you did.
Take the veterans earned benefits away!
Do not allow them to register their vehicles!
Audit their taxes!
Threaten to take their children away!
Ban them from entering grocery stores!
Do not allow them to renews any state/federal licenses they might have!
Force them to wear GPS ankle bracelets.
Not just veterans, NON vaxxers of all stripes.
Of course, but now the Communist controlling the government are threatening the veterans, the same sons of bitches who’ve never served a day in their life.
Denying medical care to needy vets, nice.
Conditioning for cashless society with value manipulation and earnings
confiscation to follow.
Not there yet but someone just posted a piece that all front line VA folks have 8 weeks to get the stab or seek employment some place else. What other medication/treatment is a condition of employment? 🐂💨💩
This is one proposal that better die in the echo chamber.
Yikes! Mine was no where near that. I’m doing good with a no salt,no sugar, small portions diet (Lost over 50 lbs so far) and OTC medication, mostly vitamin supplements. As long as those VA disability checks keep cashing it’s all good.
got to go after the VA and the vets
how about forcing their poison on the teachers union and the dept of education?
In other news the CDC has finally admitted that the current PCR being used will be withdrawn as it is ineffective. Meaning that the test cannot differentiate between Covid-19 and other illnesses.

She’s just repeating the orders coming from the white house, it will more than likely happen.
No kidding.
And the prescription plan is awful for me.
Some of the meds I’m on are Tier 4 or 5 and then there’s the coverage gap.
Zero disability.
Medicare is not government-provided health care. It is paid for by the employee all through his/her working life.

Social Security isn’t “health care”, but is also something that workers pay for during their employment years.
Pisses me off to hear some on the left refer to both as “welfare entitlements” and that funding should be reduced.
Yep... I’ll be 79 in about 3 weeks.
