Goodell’s plan is to include two pregame national anthems at marquee events — the traditional one, which I guess now is explained as the “white” anthem, and the new addition and largely unknown “black” national anthem.

To think that Goodell is dense enough to believe that such a separate-but-equal public relations scheme will promote good will as opposed to divisiveness.

Why doesn’t Goodell have NFL stadiums further divide by race? Have race-specific entrances, water fountains, concession stands, parking lots, rest rooms? His anthem plan resurrects such long-gone racist history."

Let’s be brutally honest here and recognize what this is all about.

Roger Goodell is looking over at the NBA and seeing what is happening with pro basketball in the U.S. … declining fan interest, an influx of foreign talent, and the U.S. national team losing with boring regularity in international play.

He knows that the NFL is different than the NBA in one important way: There aren’t too many foreign men out there who are willing to get their brains pummeled on a weekly basis under the terms of the worst contracts in any pro sport. So he needs to coddle his American black mercenaries and hope they stay dumb enough and desperate enough to keep signing up for the job.

If we're going to have a black national anthem, we need a white national anthem. I nominate White Jazz. You can't sing it because there are no words, which is appropriate for a theme song for a race whose origins range from Ireland to Kyrgyzstan and whose members share virtually no characteristics other than skin color.
