More vaccine mandates may be imposed across the US once the Food and Drug Administration gives its final stamp of approval to COVID-19 shots, health experts have predicted.
The three vaccines on the market are currently being administered under an emergency use authorization but a full regulatory sign off could remove legal hurdles for businesses and government agencies that want to require shots for their customers and employees, NBC News reported.
“I think once the vaccines go through full FDA approval, everything should be on the table, and I think that everything will be on the table at the level of municipalities, states, employers, venues, government agencies,” Andy Slavitt, the Biden administration’s former COVID-19 response coordinator, told NBC News.

I don’t think that’s correct. I believe (could be wrong) that right now, you can’t sue big Pharma for ANY vaccine injury or bad outcome. Nor can you sue the government for requiring them.

I got nerve damage in my back from a flu vaccine a few years ago. Flu vaccines have full fda approval.
I contacted a lawyer who specifically handles these cases.
He told me no liability rests with the vaccine companies.
The cases are handled through a federal govt. agency.
That is who is notified, paperwork is filed, and they determine if you can receive compensation. The compensation comes from a govt. fund.
So if these vaccines get full fda approval, they will not be held accountable for the damage.

Good point. Will the drug companies fight for ongoing experimental limbo? Absoves them of liability and is currently preventing thousands of lawsuits. Given our apparent love of litigation, and the fact we have about 20x the number of lawyers we need, you know there are thousands of suits coming. Every person that experiences anything more than sniffles and or a sore arm is going to contemplate a suit for compensation. Or their next of kin will. There are probably a couple of dozen law firms drawing up paperwork right now to get a class action suit certified the moment the protections are dropped. The drug companies have to be looking at this bonanza of millions of doses, vs the next couple of decades of non stop legal issues. They are going to push to maintain the experimental moniker as long as possible. Then who knows, if they are smart, maybe they simply stop producing and selling them the moment they are exposed to liability. Can’t mandate what you can’t procure.
