The Biden Department of Justice (DOJ) opted Thursday not to investigate coronavirus-related nursing home deaths in Michigan.
Michigan, New York, and Pennsylvania enacted controversial policies to placing coronavirus-infected patients into nursing homes to recuperate, effectively spreading the disease among the most susceptible population.
Last year, the Trump DOJ attempted to get nursing home death data from Whitmer’s administration, and the governor issued a joint statement with New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D). The pair argued there were partisan motivations for probing the large coronavirus-related percentage of nursing home deaths.

If Trump had made a kind phone call to a nursing home to see how the people were doing they would have sent twenty agents and a DOJ official to charge him with causing the deaths of seniors who thought it must be serious if the President called, so they had heart attacks.
“This is nothing more than a transparent politicization of the Department of Justice in the middle of the Republican National Convention,” Whitmer and Cuomo, who was embroiled in his own nursing home death scandal, said, according to the Daily Gazette.
A Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) spokesman told LeDuff a review of death data was stopped because it was too “time consuming.”

That filthy Whitmer with her self satisfied statements “We saved thousands of lives” and “we are following the science.” should be in prison but probably will be re-elected.
Of course not, following in Stalin’s footsteps, one dead is a tragedy, thousands are a statistic.

The grand jury may be used by the United States Attorney to investigate alleged or suspected violations of federal law. Unless circumstances dictate otherwise, a grand jury investigation should not be opened without consultation with the investigative agency or agencies having investigative jurisdiction of the alleged or suspected offense.
Without the determination of it being a federal crime, which this one isn’t, the AG and the investigative teams and policies under it are not part of the equation. The actual investigation for illegal actions belongs to the states. And trying to prove malfeasance when the fall back is we were trying to get people safe, is not going to happen at any level that will not be called partisan. This was the excuse Whitmer and Cuomo used and walked away the first time when Trump tried to investigate it.
A stupid decision it was. But proving criminality is not within reach.

The Democrats don’t like ‘partisanship’ when it cuts against them, but they’re all for it with the 1/6 Commission.
And for that, she probably agreed to take another 50,000 illegals in 2021, over her prior quota.
