Black Rifle Coffee is a premium, small-batch, roast-to-order, veteran-owned coffee company based out of Utah. It has seen tremendous success over the past couple of years and has been dubbed the conservative alternative to Starbucks. But social media has been abuzz over the past few days regarding an interview Black Rifle CEO Evan Hafer gave to the New York Times Magazine. In response to the interview, The Post Millennial wrote that Black Rifle “goes woke, throws customers under the bus in bizarre NYT interview.” In addition, Newsmax said the company had called out some of its customers as “a repugnant group of people.”
Conservatives on Twitter expressed outrage.
“Black Rifle Coffee is DONE!” tweeted conservative author Nick Adams.
“It looks like Black Rifle Coffee, a company which became famous because of conservatives, is now trying to distance themselves from conservatives,” tweeted Brigitte Gabriel, the founder of ACT for America.
Something didn’t sound right about this.
Let’s get the air cleared right away. Black Rifle Coffee’s founder and CEO has spoken out and is disputing how his comments were presented by the New York Times and represented by those reacting to the article, who were led to believe that Black Rifle Coffee bashed conservatives.
Evan Hafer decided to set the record straight regarding the “significant amount of misinformation being put out on the internet” about Black Rifle Coffee and about statements that he has made.
Hafer quickly debunked the notion that he made derogatory remarks about BRCC’s customers or conservatives and then proceeded to explain how the New York Times deliberately twisted his words

He was the first person to be effectively banned by BRC. They didn’t want people who supported him buying their coffee. Now they want to keep Proud Boys and other MAGA and Patriot groups from being their customers.
They in effect joined the cancel culture early on. They just made it official by dissing their customer base and doing it with the fake news.
They made their bed. Now they can sleep in it.
Did they ever say they don’t want liberals buying their coffee?

If NY Times completely fabricated his statements, then sue them.

A leader of the far-right extremist group the Proud Boys pleaded guilty Monday in the burning of a Black Lives Matter banner taken from a church in downtown D.C.
The evening of Dec. 12, a group affiliated with the Proud Boys including 37-year-old Henry “Enrique” Tarrio of Miami took the banner from Asbury United Methodist Church at 11th and K streets Northwest, then set fire to it at the intersection of 11th and E streets Northwest, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia.
Tarrio posted about burning the banner on social media and in comments on media outlets, prosecutors said.
Tarrio was arrested Jan. 4 after returning to D.C., prosecutors said. A search of Tarrio during the arrest found he had two high-capacity firearm magazines with the insignia of the Proud Boys.
Tarrio pleaded guilty in Superior Court to one count of destruction of property and one count of attempted possession of a large-capacity ammunition feeding device.
Sentencing was scheduled for Aug. 23. Each count carries a maximum penalty of 180 days in prison and a $1,000 fine.
Needless to say that we have our own problem children, but some of the comments look like they were planted to promote the disinformation.
Why would he, as a conservative, speak with the hate filled, lying NYT? How many times are conservatives going to fall in the Left’s trap before they learn to reject the left - totally.

All I heard was him whining about being the victim of anti-Semitic attacks, but we know those probably came from the left. Not the people he wants to stop buying his coffee.
Here’s what I think: they want our business and he wasn’t misquoted.
Typically, like other weak and lazy minded people, you don’t know what your talking about. They didn’t want people trying to raise money from their corporate image without their permission which is what some of Riitenhauser’s less than scrupulous supporters tried to do.
