Arizona Senate President Karen Fann, a Republican, said the state Senate doesn’t have the ability to recall electors for the Nov. 3, 2020, election, after a fellow Republican lawmaker called for new elections.
Fann told One America News Network (OANN), which has been covering the audit of Maricopa County, that the upper chamber has the ability to provide auditors with the materials they need—including through the use of subpoenas—but the certification of electors is a different matter.
“The Senate body—we do not have the authority to do that. So, this is what we have said, and I want to make this very clear on the record,” the Republican state leader said on July 16.
Fann’s comments came as former President Donald Trump issued a statement declaring that the audit revealed there were irregularities and fraud that would have swayed the election in his favor last year. On July 15, the Senate held a hearing in the midst of a months-long review carried out by Florida-based tech firm Cyber Ninjas and teams told lawmakers they discovered discrepancies.
Doug Logan, CEO of Cyber Ninjas, told senators that auditors couldn’t find any record of Maricopa County sending more than 74,000 mail-in ballots and also discovered that around 18,000 people voted, but were taken off voter rolls “soon after the election.” He also noted that there were “11,326 people who were not on the voter rolls on Nov. 7, 2020, but appeared on the rolls on Dec. 4, 2020, and 3,981 people who voted after registering after Oct. 15, 2020.”

We, as patriotic Americans who defend the Constitution, better HOPE that, should the public come to believe or realize that the election outcome was illegitimate, there is a way to put something legitimate in place ASAP.
Whatever it takes to establish a legitimate government needs to be done. Speeches, rallies, new laws, constitutional reinterpretation, constitutional amendments, replacement of officials by any means neccessary.
Otherwise, there’s a high probability that the illegitimate government will fall, and take our nation and our beloved constitution with it.
History is littered with the remnants of governments all over the world that collapsed when the people they ruled lost faith in legitimacy of those governments. Most of those collapses have been bloody, horrific affairs that ended with long term anarchy and death.
I’m writing this in July, when most of the people likely to be reading this have recently commemmorated live artillery barrages against living people as one government lost legitimacy in and around 1776. Those 18th century North American artillery barrages, the piles of dead, the privations and wounds and pain and terror and hunger and, in general, the presence of Phobos and Diemos and all their friends ... those were a historically very benign example of what happens when nations fall apart. Later, the people who took over and established a new legitimate government were a uniquely benign group who left us a republic which may never be recreated once it falls.
The horrors of America’s previous internal wars, and the rebuilding afterwards, were historically far more pleasant than the usual occurrences when people decide their government is illegitimate. Our next national breakup is likely to be far far worse.
Therefore, we all have an interest in establishing a legitimate government as quickly as possible should it become evident that the current government officials are frauds. Even fraudulent officials, should such exist, and even though they may not realize it, would be well advised to help establish a legitimate government ASAP. Allowing an illegitimate government to persist risks damage and death and destruction for all.
Nonsense along the lines of “well,there’s no pre existing laws to address this situation so we can’t do anything” needs to be repudiated. It seems that we, as a nation, might be on the verge of needing to create new laws and procedures PDQ, or, by inaction, create a situation in which we learn the bitter truth of the saying “inter arma silent leges.”
If your car was stolen and the police recovered it from the thief after 6 months, does the thief just get to keep the car because he/she possessed it for 6 months?
If there is evidence, the theft of the elections cannot stand and must be fought.
Reading the defeatism on this thread, I wonder why anyone would ever vote again.

The only ‘rules’ for the election are those in the Constitution.
Whether public knowledge of the abuse of those rules will result in a public demand for correction I cannot say.
But it may, and our Founders expected it will IMO.

The purpose of the audits is to maintain your state of anger over the 2020 Election so you’ll vote in the 2022 Election.
Well... Then the ENTIRE process is nothing but a JOKE! It sure as hell isn’t worthy of ANY respect! Neither is ANYBODY who stands up for it and defends it!
The evidence was never litigated. It takes many months to audit an election and gather evidence. If there are such rulings that say "the election litigation must end in such a short period of time", then such rulings allow for perpetual fraud.
They'll cheat again in 2022. Why wouldn't they?
The opinion of SCOTUS will be the only opinion worth hearing. I imagine SCOTUS will disregard State guidance that Certification renders Electors beyond recall.
And if the rules in the Constitution are fraudulently broken, it's absurd to say that the Constitution protects such fraud.

Weeks wasted on the audit, and now this comes out.
What came out? This is not news.
Seems like a judge could either call for another election or declare AZ (or PA or GA) electors fraudulent. That would drop the number of electoral votes to win.
The Constitution is very clear that after Congressional review the election is over.
No allowance for courts or any other determination.
