A hotel maid is being hailed for her role in preventing what police fear could have been a “Las Vegas style shooting” at the upcoming MLB All-Star Game in Denver, a report said Saturday.
The housekeeper tipped off cops after she found more than a dozen weapons and 1,000 rounds of ammunition at a hotel near Coors Field Friday, according to ABC7 Denver.
The alarming discovery was made inside a room on the eight floor of the Maven Hotel, just two blocks from the mile-high ballpark that is hosting the “Midsummer Classic” Tuesday, the station said.
Cops removed 16 long guns, body armor, and ammo from the room, which had a balcony overlooking Denver’s downtown, the outlet reported.
Three men and a woman were arrested and charged with weapons possessions in connection with the cache. Three of the suspects were previous offenders, and three of them also were charged with intent to distribute drugs, the report said.

So Joe, if the government can’t prevent prior offenders from amassing an arsenal like this, how will you prevent actions like this if thousands of illegal guns start flowing across the Southern border after you’ve disarmed the law abiding citizens?

Damn… that sends shudders down my spine.
So when they say “Las Vegas style shooting” do they mean a mass shooting where the suspect’s motives are buried by the FBI and all mention of it is wiped from the internet and banned by social media?
So who trusts the FBI?
The maid certainly did the right thing. Don’t think I’d call it heroic.

FWIW - the local news is properly reporting the story. Drug dealers with guns busted in hotel. Does not mention anything about some terrorist plot to shoot up the All-Star game.
This is another example of a story being hyped by the media to fit a narrative. Shame on Fox News and the NY Post for doing the same style of dishonest reporting.
P.S. - drug involved people are worried about getting high. They typically have no political motives, but the media and other institutions certainly do.
