You are correct... the parties have the power...

Time to repeal the 17th Amendment and restore the Republic. End the uniparty rule

I’m glad he finally said this. Of all the many horrible things that our new leftist masters have done, this is the most flagrant violation: blithely ignoring the shooting of an unarmed American citizen on public property by someone who is clearly some kind of government employee, combined with locking up protesters, silencing them and grossly depriving them of their guaranteed, elemental rights before the law.

It is a chilling display of government power and violates just about everything in our Constitution. Leftists should be worried about it too, although I guess they think that they’ll be in charge of the government forever so they’ll never have to worry about being on the receiving end of this treatment. Still, anyone who cares about our country and our system should be out there demanding answers and accountability.

I know isolated voices in Congress have attempted to bring this up, and hopefully Trump’s mention of it will encourage others.

I’m wondering when the libs will roll out Barry to try to overshadow Trump, perhaps have his own rallies and such.
Trump is being very visible, very outgoing recently. Will they stand for this ?Or maybe they will continue on with the media to do their bidding

Oh, I agree. But there were some that assaulted law enforcement and they should pay the price. All of the others were using their 1st Amendment rights to protest.

“Disagree

Those who threw things at officers
This who smashed windows
Those who stole things
They should be in jail”

Who unlocked the magnetic locks from inside the Capitol that day?

Who told arriving Capitol police that they were not needed for their shif that day, and why?

Who was handing clubs to arriving protestors from within the Capitol?

Who were the men coming from behing Capitol police in full battle/riot gear, who caused damage and stirred up the crowd, who then went behing police lines and changed clothes?

Why were Capitol police opening doors and ushering people inside the Capitol?

Why were Capitol police firing non-lethal projectiles and flashbangs at peaceful protestors?

Why did Nancy Pelosi refuse security for that day offered by President Trump?

I think we ALL know the answers to these questions. They needed to create the day that we all witnessed to form an enduring narrative.

Too bad nobody’s buying it.

The speech definitely came off as a campaign speech.

How come, how come?” ....

Because we have a two-tiered justice system. One for law abiding, conservative, Republican citizens; and, one for Leftist ideologues who torch cities.

The law abiding get punished; and, the arsonists and looters go free.

Looks like you got legitimate answers. And remember the “riot” happened a long while before Trump started speaking that day.

Remember that he was betrayed by all but a handful in his own party, too. I suspect that people like us would not bear the weight of that pressure as well as he did, unless God came to our aid.

There’s a lot to sort out.

I saw video 90 minutes before the networks interrupted programs of confrontations between people and police very workmanlike not inflicting injury on either side. (115 pm Eastern time)

Who did that?

Later on the incendiary confrontation at the Capitol entrances was described by Right Side Broadcasting Network at 5 pm Eastern as having an Antifa like atmosphere.

I agree.

The fire balls and black uniformed individuals in front of the MAGA hats and Trump flags of people milling around
reminded me of the anarchists who showed up to disrupt the Yellow Vests protests that had gained millions of followers in France.

Marine Le Pen noted that the presence of the “black blocs” as the French call them helped the government cause.

Who did the violence?

A. Drunk and crazy people, people whose anger was manipulated into a trap. These people have issues and need help to sober up so to speak.

B. Some militant people Antifa and so on not limited to and possibly including undercover informants or agents of the FBI, operatives of leftist groups like Southern Poverty Law Center and so on who infiltrate and spy on “the far-right”.

Violent acts will need proper legal remedies but the vast majority of these people did nothing violent. The feds dug through the law books to cook up the charges and pile them on.

They want to force plea bargains guilty pleas.

Federal prosecutors have these methods of piling on charges to force the accused to either hire six-figure lawyers to fight at trial or cop a guilty plea.

Federal prosecutors have a 98 percent conviction rate in a system where supposedly one is:

“presumed innocent”
