Even as more Americans seem optimistic that life is returning to normal, half of U.S. adults are worried that another surge of COVID-19 infections could threaten the country, according to the latest PBS NewsHour/NPR/Marist poll.
With states dropping pandemic restrictions and the most transmissible coronavirus variant so far on the rise, the concern about another wave is most pronounced among 74 percent of Democrats. Forty-nine percent of U.S. adults are not concerned, including 72 percent of Republicans, reflecting the pervasive partisan divide that has hindered the nation’s pandemic response.

That is what I mean. I have seen many reports about Russian citizens longing for the days of the USSR. It’s scary to have to think and care for yourself.
The problem is, in our system, those that don’t wish to be free take the rest of us down with them.
It’s going to be a MUCH harder sell this “new-variant” time around, if that’s what they’re planning. Still, they will play it for all its worth, continuing to get a modicum of pale support (this time) from the MSM.This effort to enslave large parts of the world is at the beginning of its death-throes, but still continues ironically to point to the healthy rosy glow on its cheeks. There has been infinitely more pushback in way more areas than they could’ve anticipated. All they can do reflexively is push harder, wherever they think it will work. Their time is running out and their tools are dulling, and millions more people than a year ago are beginning to glean the big picture.
