The Russian president issued the stark warning during a televised Q&A on Wednesday, during which he also boasted that even if Russia had sunk HMS Defender it would not have caused World War Three.

Putin boldly claimed his navy could have attacked the ship in the Black Sea because the West knows "full well that they can't win in that war".
During his annual “Direct Line” call in show, in which citizens can submit queries for the president, he spoke of how the “period of unipolar world is over”.
“No matter what sanctions are imposed on Russia, no matter what the scaremongering, Russia is developing and in some respects our country has surpassed the European countries and even the US,” he said.
While Putin said the nation would not be taking steps that would be harmful to themselves, he said if boundaries were crossed, they would find “asymmetrical ways” to respond.
“I hope the United States will change this attitude not only towards us, but also towards their other allies,” he said.
Putin went on to say that the world was “changing dramatically” - something he said the United States understood.

“On the other hand,at all costs,they are trying to maintain their monopoly position. Hence their threats and sanctions come out."
This is Putin's starkest warning yet to UK and the US following last week's skirmish in the Black Sea. (more)

The Democratic Party has been trying to reduce America’s dominance since Clinton’s time. Remember he and Albright played a role in the formation of the EU to counter America’s dominance in the World. The Albright book alludes to that fact. Then the Obama administration went on a full-court press to diminish America’s reputation, to re-write history and reduce dominance. And now we have Biden picking up where Obama left off.
The only times of relative peace in this world were times when there was a big mean dog running things. Yeah, maybe bad things happened. But without the big dog the world immediately descends into warlords fighting never-ending battles for dominance. Medieval Japan’s and China’s and Europe’s never ending wars. Rome falls? A thousand years of conflict and destruction. When the USA falls (as it is in the process of now) general conflicts will flare up immediately.
That’s why I never worried about this phony Russia-China alliance. It wouldn’t last two seconds if the USA pulled out.

It’s distressing. It used to be, we could count on corporate America to reign in the political class. Now, corporate America is “woke” and fueling the lunacy that comes out of Washington.

They are now engaged in very strong aggression against Russia in an attempt to encircle, dismember and neuter it. the color-revolution in Ukraine was the start and the Biden family corruption there ensures his compliance.
A weak US President makes the world a more dangerous place for everyone.
With Putin this statement should be read as a signal that he’s working up the nerve to do something else.
I’d say he’s very likely to invade and annex more of or the rest of Ukraine.
I’d also say he’s equally ready to invade and annex the Baltic states just because NATO, the USA, and the EU don’t think he will. And there’s a good chance that NATO and the USA won’t do anything if Russia invades the Baltics.
