The State of New York has suspended Rudy Giuliani’s law license over his claims of fraud in the 2020 election, according to a court decision released Thursday.
The decision states:
Respondent was admitted to practice as an attorney and counselor at law in the State of New York on June 25, 1969, under the name Rudolph William Giuliani. He maintains a law office within the First Judicial Department.
For the reasons that follow, we conclude that there is uncontroverted evidence that respondent communicated demonstrably false and misleading statements to courts, lawmakers and the public at large in his capacity as lawyer for former President Donald J. Trump and the Trump campaign in connection with Trump’s failed effort at reelection in 2020. These false statements were made to improperly bolster respondent’s narrative that due to widespread voter fraud, victory in the 2020 United States presidential election was stolen from his client. We conclude that respondent’s conduct immediately threatens the public interest and warrants interim suspension from the practice of law, pending further proceedings before the Attorney Grievance Committee.
The ruling stated that Giuliani’s suspension is “interim,” and that his statements about election fraud were made “knowingly.” Though he has First Amendment rights, the court noted, he is also bound by rules of professional conduct.

Since Giuliani hurt Trump more than helped him, I don’t have much sympathy. He was very much all talk and no action, and most of his talk was speculative, not substantive or actionable. He accomplished nothing other than embarrass Trump.
Every day, the news just keeps getting worse and we are farther into tyranny. Where is the breaking point?

It isn’t Giuliani’s fault the courts refused to hear the cases or even bother to examine the evidence.
None of the attorneys who claimed for years that President Donald Trump was elected through “Russian collusion” has been disciplined in a similar manner.
So says another obvious leftist plant.

Lawyers chasing ambulances, then being damn near unresponsive for their clients after being paid, missing court dates... and this is what they choose to go after...
I bet I can go to a NY court somewhere TODAY and find numerous instances of where attorneys are outright negligent in their duties, and I bet this body of ethical professionals worried about Giuliani will not be there nor do anything as long as those attorneys pay their yearly dues. LOL
The purpose of their lawfare is to bankrupt you, make your life a living hell for years, or send you to jail.
So they suspend his law license because he asserted that the election was stolen and widespread fraud occurred. How Soviet of them.

Just like the media and democrats have been proven wrong on the Wuhan virus, and HCQ, and the Russian dossier hoax against Trump, and the photo-op around he capitol, and the wrongful defunding of the police in blue states....
Trump (and Juliani) will eventually be proven correct about the 2020 election having been stolen. It may not be this year, but, it will happen.
