CNN's New Day went nuts this morning in reaction to the Republican filibuster of S1, the so-called "For the People Act," which would largely federalize elections. CNN New Day co-host John Berman fumed:
"Senate Republicans are afraid to even discuss voting rights . . . Of course Mitch McConnell likes the status quo because status quo is Republican-led states rigging the system."
CNN chief legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin, continuing his comeback tour after his Zoom-masturbation suspension, then claimed that the voting rights bill is nothing less than:
"Life or death for the democracy . . . an existential crisis for the United States."

I get it now... couldn’t figure out why the stupid media can’t say “death of the republic”- that word is too close to “republican” and they don’t want us to know what they are thinking.
And, it is now truly the Communist News Network.
Speaking of life or death, isn’t CNN on life support?
The good news is very very few Americans give two hoots what CNN is screeching about. Their ratings are in the toilet.
IC what U did there, Mark! You funny. Thanks.

ANY Republican in their right mind would, if they are on CNN, say....well your legal opinions come from a guy who masturbated to female colleagues during a zoom meeting...so yeah, I don’t know why you think you have the moral or ethical high ground here.
Freedom is a well armed lamb.
Most of the Senate Republicans are TransRepublicans, Assistant Democrats that wear R jerseys to fool people.
We MUST replace ALL of the Bush League Republicans.
Re-electing Amnesty Senators will only get us amnesty and a permanent Democrat majority.
Rubio and Hoeven are Amnesty Senators and are up in 2022.
If Democrats cannot easily steal elections we are all doooooomed! Dooooomed!
FR: Never Accept the Premise of Your Opponentâs Argument
CNN blatantly ignores that one of the main powers that the states have expressly constitutionally given to the feds to dictate domestic policy is to run the U.S. Mail Service.
"Article I, Section 8, Clause 7: To establish Post Offices and post Roads;"
In other words, most federal domestic policy is now based on stolen state powers and uniquely associated state revenues, including citizens' wallets, state revenues and citizens' wallets stolen by means of unconstitutional federal taxes, taxes that Congress cannot justify under its constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers.
"10th Amendment: The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States timely, or to the people."
âCongress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States.â âJustice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.
âFrom the accepted doctrine that the United States is a government of delegated powers, it follows that those not expressly granted, or reasonably to be implied from such as are conferred, are reserved to the states, or to the people. To forestall any suggestion to the contrary, the Tenth Amendment was adopted. The same proposition, otherwise stated, is that powers not granted are prohibited [emphasis added].â âUnited States v. Butler, 1936.
The corrupt, post-17th Amendment Congress is going to continue to fight voters to retain control of stolen state powers.
The remedy for unconstitutionally big federal government...
Trump's red tsunami of patriot voters need to primary federal and state lawwakers who do not clearly promise to help put the country back on its constitutional foundations.
Hey TUBEr. Zip it. No, literally. They need to quit strokin’ his tiny.....ego.....
Proof that CNN doesn’t have fact check.
The basis of the filibuster is to avoid the tyranny of the majority. Abandoning it would be the death knell of the republic. Just sayin.
As someone said, “Toobin got off easy”.
He was really pulling for this............bill.
Toobin looking quite dismayed....
“To be gay and to have hemorrhoids, is that fair? I ask you.”
woman screaming....
That is the next Vice President when Kamala takes office.
A woman, from a swing state, supporter of both DC and Puerto Rican statehood....hey, what’s not to like? A little energetic but Kamala likes that.
“Life or death for democracy”
I agree. Death is my choice.
