Hundreds of thousands of Americans have sought medical care for post-COVID health problems that they had not been diagnosed with before becoming infected with the coronavirus, according to the largest study to date of long-term symptoms in COVID-19 patients.
The study, tracking the health insurance records of nearly 2 million people in the United States who contracted the coronavirus last year, found that one month or more after their infection, almost one-quarter — 23% — of them sought medical treatment for new conditions.

Post-Covid bump.
Father God,
Have mercy upon those who suffer from aftereffects from having Covid-19 or the vaccine.
May it be as it was in olden days when Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness and all who looked upon it were healed of the plague. May excellent health return when the afflicted look to Jesus Christ as Savior and Healer.
In JESUS NAME we pray.Amen.
“Que the ‘Why are so many Freepers antivax crowd’”
Anything from the government is like waving a red flag in front of a bull. No discrimination.
Whenever the government is PUSHING something this hard stay the hell AWAY!! Nothing to do with anti vaccine EVERYTHING to do with anti government pushing something experimental!!
See below for the White Paper:
A Detailed Study of Patients with Long-Haul COVID : An Analysis of Private Healthcare Claims
I call BS. Note the title itself: They are using a study of 'health claims' without study of the patients' actual health to draw conclusions. The devil's in the details:
To perform this analysis, FAIR Health drew on longitudinal data from its database of over 34 billion private healthcare claim records from 2002 to the present. The nation’s largest such repository, it is growing by over 2 billion claim records per year. All patients in the longitudinal dataset who had been diagnosed with COVID-19 from February to December 2020 were included, except for those with certain preexisting conditions (such as cancer and chronic kidney disease) that might have acted as confounders. The remaining 1,959,982 patients [i.e. patient records] were studied for their case characteristics, such as age, gender and reaction to COVID-19 (i.e., asymptomatic, symptomatic, hospitalization, loss of taste or smell only). They [their records] were further studied for the prevalence of post-COVID conditions 30 days or more after their initial diagnosis with COVID-19. Their post-COVID conditions [RECORDS!!!] were analyzed, with the most common conditions identified. Particular attention was given to age and gender, mental health conditions and death. How scientific of them. /s Of course, this is all 100% dependent upon the accuracy of digital health records, claims data and diagnoses (let that sink in).
Anyone with an open mind can discern some enlightenment from this 'white paper' - confirmation bias being what it is - but there are fewer details on these patients via this 'study' (nothing more than a data mining project) than on those who've suffered adverse effects from the so-called 'vaccines'.
We all know how the vaxxers treat THOSE "anecdotal" reports...
Oh, and read the line in the SFGate piece about the study NOT being 'peer reviewed' if you're a FReeper reading my comment and getting emotional...
(By His stripes.
Is 53:5)
My wife had a moderate bout with covid, and has been diagnosed with new lung damage, including COPD.
They are planning to take something.
Wow. So much for “private” healthcare claims.
Dataminer’s Delight
😩
It appears covid in all ways, be it the virus itself, the shot, and/or both affect everybody in one way or another. The only ones unaffected are those who haven’t had either.
Seeing as how aborted babies were used for the vaccines, its questionable what Jesus would do for them.
COVID-19 hit me hard. Hospitalized twice but never vented.
COPD, my kidneys are jacked up, the brain fog went away, but my endocrine system was also depleted. Never lost smell or taste, but the joint pain, chest pain, and sleep apnea are all new awful parts of my everyday life.
I’m on 2 inhalers, cipro for my kidneys, steroids, progesterone, testosterone, and a cocktail cream with estrogen in it.
And to think, in 2019 I was walking all day in Europe and climbing to the tops of medieval towers. Now I get winded going around the block.
I refuse to get the vaccine. China’s bioweapon did enough damage.
I’m about three months out, smell came back gradually and is now about 80-90 percent of what it was before, but I’ll take it! My daughter lost hers too but only for a few weeks. She has a couple of friends who still can’t smell, or have distorted smell, over a year later. She told me that there are protocols for retraining your neural pathways, I believe she said involving a progression of sniffing certain smells/essential oils in certain order over a period of time that I believe she said amounts to a few weeks, not sure exactly because I was keeping the possibility in mind “just in case”, but eventually mine returned. It’s was so gone at one point that even sticking my nose in a jar of vaporub I couldn’t smell anything at all, just felt the coolness.
Point is though, don’t lose hope, because whether on its own or by retraining, you will get it back!
In a month symptoms will disappear, at least the have for me. It took a good 60 days from cessation of symptoms to feel 100% One thing I did notice though is one eye needs correction. My eyesight got worse in the left eye.
That’s because it is an experimental inoculation. Dumb asses!
Natural immunity from getting infected by the virus and surviving may have unfortunate tradeoffs.
Many have been angered that HCQ wasn’t made universally available as an alternative to the vaccine. However, even those the capsules are inexpensive, taking them every day could add up to some real expense. The average cost for 60 tablets, 200mg each of the generic (hydroxychloroquine sulfate) is $149.19. For a year’s supply, that’s $907.57 per year if the dosage is one tablet per day. However, kick in the cost of a doctor’s visit to get the proper dosage for you. You might have to do a lengthy search for a doctor who knows the correct prophylactic level you need to have to protect you from getting Covid. You wouldn’t want to experience a nasty chemical side effect or get Covid anyway by getting it wrong.
Well said and revealing post.
