If you live in a place that you have to be “situationally aware” while pumping gas then you live in the wrong place. Just sayin’...

In any urban setting I remember a time when the baseball great Reggie Jackson was backing his car into a curb space to parallel park in New York City. AFTER he was part of the way in a car came around the corner and a guy tried to push his car into the space to take it away.
Reggie: “Sorry, buddy, but I was already parking here.”
The other guy pulled a gun out and fired a shot, aiming directly at Jackson’s chest.
He missed and the bullet hit his car.
Reggie: “Hey, okay, I give up. The space is yours, pal.”

Seriously, mug shot sites give two of him from 2018 and there is a story about a 67 year old woman assaulted the day or so before this 2021 attack. WHY does society allow mad giants with hot tempers to commit more and more crimes? Black privilege? ((The January 6th demonstrators are still in jail, some in solitary confinement, waiting trials.))
To appear woke for virtue signaling? To not violate the Christian rules against taking up arms against them? (give him your cloak, turn the other cheek, love him!!).
You don’t even have to look anymore. When they say “random unprovoked attack”, it means a black attacking a non-black person.

As I type this, I know who is where and doing what. When I pump gas I seek an out bound facing pump, lock my doors, wife watches the passenger front and forward, I get the drivers pump side and rear, always armed, know who is where with pretty good fidelity and have a plan....
Why, do bad things only happen in specific locales? Really? I never knew.

Fortunately I am now living in the richest county in Florida,
and this is a small town, not a big city, and there is not much violent crime here. So I feel safe in gas stations, grocery stores and restaurants here. But if I was in Chicago where I spent 37 years of my life, I would be like you, watching my surroundings every minute.
Yup. I’d be in jail for what I’d do to a guy like that.
