Sorry, I am in a negative mood about our pharma owned health industry. I just watched the video interview of “The Illusion of Evidence Based Medicine” and it was painfully eye opening...:-(

No apologies needed! Only a fool would think otherwise.

Does anyone see how this money maker fits into the pending Alzheimer outbreak soon to materialize from the COVID ‘vaccine?’

Avoid “evidence based medicine” like the plague. Go for “I think this will work” medicine.

I think they got the name by spelling “Bamunacuda” backwards.

Cheaper than a nursing home, if it can make that difference.

aducanumab

If you can pronounce it, you don't need it.

My dad was involved in an early study of the same drug. Not approved. The dosage has now been changed. There are side effects. Yesterday, it was 50/50 that this would be approved. In one day it has gone from questionable to a “Wonder Drug.” My personal opinion is not high on helping many people. I hope I am wrong. Rotten disease. My dad will probably die from AZ in the next 2 months. Diagnosed over 15 years ago.

There is an easier way to make money with Big Pharma. Take US tax dollars in NIH grants, pay a bunch of Chinese scientists to create the most hideous virus they can think of using Gain of Function techniques, then unleash it upon the world, and while people are dying, hold back and forbid any low cost therapy but just begin selling the new untried and very expensive vaccine to that very virus. Sound familiar?

It’s no cheaper than a nursing home for those who are penniless.

I’ve had relatives, and known a number of people who suffered
from Alzheimer’s.

There really is a feeling of desperation as this person loses
a little more of themselves each day.

A new medication like this may or may not work, but we know
for sure what happens if the Alzheimer’s is left to continue
destruction.

I say let them try. It’s the only hope these folks have.

**********************************************************

My wife of 56 yrs is suffering from this horrible disease and I have watched her slip away from me for the past 5 yrs. I am devoting what remains of my life to her and have done much research on this most horrible of all diseases. She requires 24/7 care and I consider myself blessed by God to be able to have her here at home with me and to be able to afford the cost of in home care.

There has never been a halt to the insidious progression of the disease noted, there has never been a remission and there has never been a medication known to do anything to slow the disease despite claims made to the contrary.

I am all for research continuing to beat this as well as all of the other life ending diseases but the fact that three members of this prestigious board have resigned rather than have their names associated with this new medications says volumes to me.

That’s a decision you will have to make for yourself.

I would keep a sharp eye out on the people who have elected
to try it. I’d like to see some headway come from it.

There has to be a bit more to the story than it doesn’t work
at all and they approved of it anyway.

I am very leery of claims and counter-claims in this field.

I was a pharmaceutical purchasing agent for 27 years, and
these firms are all over the map on their evaluations, pro
and con.

From this last year you can see what we are dealing with
when it comes to medications and approvals.

Remember, we couldn’t even get clearance for a medication
that had been on the market for over 40 years,
Hydroxycloroquine. I pretty much think of the FDA along
the lines of how I see the CDC, the NIH, and the WHO.

Academia in this field was all over the map this last year.

I don’t remember a one of these people resigning last year
in protest of the Hydroxycloroquine situation.
