I’ve had relatives, and known a number of people who suffered
from Alzheimer’s.

There really is a feeling of desperation as this person loses
a little more of themselves each day.

A new medication like this may or may not work, but we know
for sure what happens if the Alzheimer’s is left to continue
destruction.

I say let them try. It’s the only hope these folks have.

**********************************************************

My wife of 56 yrs is suffering from this horrible disease and I have watched her slip away from me for the past 5 yrs. I am devoting what remains of my life to her and have done much research on this most horrible of all diseases. She requires 24/7 care and I consider myself blessed by God to be able to have her here at home with me and to be able to afford the cost of in home care.

There has never been a halt to the insidious progression of the disease noted, there has never been a remission and there has never been a medication known to do anything to slow the disease despite claims made to the contrary.

I am all for research continuing to beat this as well as all of the other life ending diseases but the fact that three members of this prestigious board have resigned rather than have their names associated with this new medications says volumes to me.
