Give me a break.

Texas is turning blue, like the rest of the country.

The pandemic is the spread of communism, not Covid

While naturalized Texans preferred Biden in 2020 compared to domestic movers, they were almost as conservative (42 percent to 44 percent), less liberal (14 percent to 18 percent), and far more moderate (45 percent to 37 percent), signaling that overseas immigrants to Texas are up for grabs politically and are likely taking a dim view of the modern left’s full-embrace of all things woke.
Votes, yeah, good one.

My idea: Texas goes independent. It’s legal. A small sliver stays in the US, keeping the 2 senators and 1 house vote. Let the chips fall where they may.

These two things may both be true:

1) People moving to Texas may vote Conservative in an enormous wave of Red support.
2) All future elections in Texas shall result in landslides for the Democrats.

That stuff just happens. You know?

Doesn’t matter how they vote. Democrats will win. Voting isn’t a real option anymore, but they sure want us to believe in fairy tales.

2022 in Florida will help tell what direction Florida is moving, DeSantis is up for reelection, by all rights he should dominate unless something major happens between now and then....but Florida is exploding with people moving here, are they sane people from Blue States getting out of town or are they people from blue states bringing their crappy politics with them..

People forget that the first wave of an exodus out of a liberal chithole is going to be the conservatives that have finally had it and leave. That was me, ten years ago when I left Seattle for Kentucky.

When I heard the reports of that total idiot “Beto” being “slightly ahead of Cruz” “neck and neck” “too close to call”
in our only counterbalance big state to CA and NY, then I knew we were in trouble. A close call but who knows when millions of illegals are counted for a few votes each next time? Along with former Californians asking at McDonald’s “Can I substitute the kale/arugula/prairie grass side salad for the fries? We did that all the time back in California.”

We are in deep trouble.

I can believe this. It is the “producers” that are moving.

In my case, I moved back to Texas and I never voted for Democrats.

Ditto that. Liberals are not dying to move out of socialist hell hole states. Conservatives are.

Agreed.

Look at what has become of AZ, CO and OR.

Yup, it’s the producer golden gooses that are getting squeezed tigher and tighter who have finally had enough.

Anyone that votes Democrat, at this point , is either hopelessly stupid , or a Communist inclined traitor.

Texas should declare Texas sovereignty. Throw the feds out , seal their own border and get rid of every Democrat that purports to represent them , at any & every level.

If people want to know the problem with Texas, it's no
different than other states along the border.

Get out the election map, and look at the border. That region
along it will be blue. Here:

Before I post it, this is the 2018 senate race map. It's
clearer than others and gets the point across.

The border and big cities particularly the ones with
universities are the problem.

Most of the people leaving California are Conservatives.
That's one of the main reasons why California is now so
politically lopsided.

Nobody wants to admit that the border, university cities,
and large population centers are Leftist most everywhere.
That's hard to deal with.

They'd rather pin it on people moving out of California.
I don't think Californians are making a bee-line for the
counties on the border of Mexico.

“When I heard the reports of that total idiot “Beto” being “slightly ahead of Cruz” “neck and neck” “too close to call”

HUGE MISTAKE to put that type of meaning on that election. In 2018 the rats were hyper energized after the fist 2 years of Trump, just as conservative tea party types were in 2010 after the first 2 years of OBOZO. Beto had a huge dollar advantage and GOTV from focused national level helpers. Conservatives and GOP voters were fat and happy and some were still ticked at Cruz from the primary, electors wars and so did not turn out. THOSE WERE ALL ONE TIME CONDITIONS THAT WILL NOT OCCUR AGAIN LIKE THAT IN 2022 AND 2024...
