I would fight and die if necessary to have my country back. If you’re perfectly happy with Xoe Biden‘s America, then I ask, what are YOU doing here?

I'm not happy with President Biden's America. Far from it.

But you advocate overthrowing the government.

There were dozens of legal challenges filed in court. The court reviewed the challenges. Almost all were dismissed by judges both liberal and conservative.

We have people like Mike Lindell and Jovan Pulitizer both claiming among other things that systems were breached and this led to vote totals being manipulated.

Yet NEITHER ONE will provide the packet captures that support those claims. Why? In the case of Lindell, we get video of a packet capture or firewall log, etc.

Why not release it so it can be examined? If you are advocating for the overthrow of the government, take that elsewhere.

I expect this from you. I don’t know how you can live with yourself thinking fuzzy illogical thoughts all the time. Let me make this clear.

I never said anything about a military dictatorship.

Did Americans have a military dictatorship after the bloody coup we know as the Revolutionary War? No? Then why would you expect there to be one after we take back America from those who just stole our country?

Sure. And don’t worry about the cattle car you are riding in. They’ll be some very nice showers at the end when you get where you’re going.

-Thomas Jefferson

“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you w “What country can preserve its liberties if its rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent.

When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty.

I am a friend to righteous government, to a government founded upon the principles of reason and justice; but I glory in publicly avowing my eternal enmity to tyranny. Is the present system, which the British administration have adopted for the government of the colonies, a righteous government - or is it tyranny?

When once a Republic is corrupted, there is no possibility of remedying any of the growing evils but by removing the corruption and restoring its lost principles; every other correction is either useless or a new evil.

"BroJoeK, here’s another one."

I agree with you.
Responsibility2nd tells us:

That's his premise and based on it he tries to justify a coup or civil war... or God knows what.
But to begin with, his premise is false, what we really have is one allegedly stolen election.
Of course a stolen election is a serious thing, but it's not entirely unheard of, it's happened before, and somehow our republic survived.
I've mentioned before the example of 1960, when John Kennedy's dad paid Chicago Mayor Daily to steal the election from Richard Nixon.
Nixon did not raise a stink about it, much less attempt a coup, but he did, eventually, get even, twice, in 1968 & 1972.

Point is, one stolen election does not automatically abolish our Constitution, we have survived such things before and can again.
More to your point though, the very idea of attempting to "restore the Constitution" by illegal force of arms is a contradiction in terms and anathema to the Constitution itself.

It can't happen, it won't happen and any pathetic attempt to do it will go down in history along with others which are mostly forgotten now.

I never said anything about a military dictatorship.

You're talking about a bloody coup. What is the end result of that if not tyranny? How can you have your unconstitutional military takeover without doing away with the courts and Congress? Would you expect Congress to just stand by and allow the military to take over without taking actions to stop it? Likewise the courts. How can you leave them operating when they could very well strike down whatever you try to do? Your coup leads to dictatorship, it can't be other wise. And as bad as Biden in office is, tyranny is worse.

Or perhaps you see a different outcome? If so, by all mean lay out your vision of a coup's results. This should be fun.

All I am doing here is quoting the Constitution and our founding fathers. Now go out Jim Robinson’s tagline.

Then go tell him he is advocating an overthrow of the government.

Actually, the coup occurred early one Wednesday morning after Trump and Republicans won big on a certain Tuesday in November.

I’m glad our founding fathers did not take the time to listen to people like you who preferred being subject to King George.

There comes a time when petitioning the government becomes pointless, and other means are required to affect reform. They didn't start out as revolutionaries. Things just moved in that direction.

Can you read? Seriously. Have someone read this to you. This is what I said.

Did Americans have a military dictatorship after the bloody coup we know as the Revolutionary War? No? Then why would you expect there to be one after we take back America from those who just stole our country?

In case that didn’t sink in I’m going to repeat myself.

Did Americans have a military dictatorship after the bloody coup we know as the Revolutionary War? No? Then why would you expect there to be one after we take back America from those who just stole our country?

And once again for emphasis.

Did Americans have a military dictatorship after the bloody coup we know as the Revolutionary War? No? Then why would you expect there to be one after we take back America from those who just stole our country?

As asinine as your comparsion with the Revolution is, you overlook a couple of things. A coup is a hostile takeover of an existing government, a revolution breaks away and forms a different government.

Then why would you expect there to be one after we take back America from those who just stole our country?

Answer this. Once the military steps in and forcibly removes Biden from office, and even assuming they put Trump in office, what part do you see Congress and the Courts playing in all this? Do you think they will be allowed to remain undisturbed so they can impeach and remove Trump for his unconstitutional actions? Do you thing the courts will sit back and ignore the constitutional infractions without striking them down? Of course not. So how does your coup not result in tyranny when two thirds of the branches of government are done away with?

Did Americans have a military dictatorship after the bloody coup we know as the Revolutionary War? No? Then why would you expect there to be one after we take back America from those who just stole our country?

The let me repeat myself. Lay out your vision of a post-coup America. What happens afterwards? This should be good for a laugh or two.

I see you think returning to a MAGA state of affairs is a joke to you. And that you can’t comprehend a reset to American greatness.

“What happens afterwards?” I wish I knew. But I do know it would be preferable to the Marxism we live in now

The reason we didn’t have a dictatorship was because of the character of George Washington. Foreign governments expected him to go Cromwell because a) it was very recent in people’s memory, & b) some of the same revolutionary principles overlapped ! He was begged by some during the war to make himself military dictator. Washington maintained the preeminence of civilian control even when doing so worked against the short term interests of the cause.

I see no George Washingtons anywhere not Flynn & not Trump even though I like and respect both.

One should read about the French Revolution; “liberals in the classical sense” got out maneuvered (Thinking about Lafayette !) by the radicals and look what happened. Revolutions have a way of escaping control. Historically most revolutions make things worse in the short term and not that much better in the long term, we were the exception.

“ we were the exception”

We certainly were. Our founding fathers were highly educated and were very knowledgeable about various rules of government. From early Greece and Rome all the way up through various European styles. And when they chose to establish a Republic under our Constitution, it was and still is the most remarkable government ever established.
