Well, USOs are Unidentified Submersible Objects reported thousands of times by observers all over the world. A logical thing as airtight spece vehicles can be watertight vehicles.
Whatever that library student assistant and her friend saw was able to go underwater and above it to fly. She had no advantage to be gained by telling about it, and people get ridiculed and lose credibility if they do tell about it. She was a highly intelligent and level headed young woman and a non druggie and non-drinker.
But now that cookbook will have several Soylent Green recipes. We are in trouble. And no Leigh Taylor Young types around, let alone Charlton Heston.

Well, that does complicate things. So, biologically speaking, they started as either large or smalls leaving us no way of knowing which had something added on and which had something chopped off.

Also, current physics does NOT say the movements we see are not possible. It just says our publicly released technology is not capable of keeping humans alive (or the structure of the craft, for that matter, in tact) doing maneuvers we have seen these “craft” perform.
We know there are gravitational waves (at least, according to our astrophysicists -— I am not a quantum or string theory expert). If you can control gravity, you can make “inertia” of objects inside the craft appear to be ZERO. So no splatting on the seat, liberating all of your carbon in mere microseconds, to combust with the oxygen atmosphere also compressed into a solid around those carbon atoms from the “mess”, and incinerating the craft, when you kick in max grav drive.
We just aren’t there yet. If the Lord Jesus Christ doesn’t come back for us beforehand, we will dip our toes into it in the next 20 years, more than likely.
I think it is the height of ignorance to claim humans understand all there is to know about physics. The fact God exists proves that up and down, and left and right (well, I may be assuming G Larry believes in God/Christ).
But look at stars, the things we call black holes, and neutron stars... we have theories about how all these works on a macro level, but can we create one? Not as I am aware :) And even if we manage to make craft to manipulate gravity and energy to do our bidding, it does NOT mean we will be playing on anything like God’s level sometime soon thereafter. Which also means we won’t be all that more close to knowing how He did it. We’ll just be better at moving ourselves around in creation.

Gravity and inertia are different from each other, yes. Inertia is the resistance of mass in response to a change in it’s velocity.
But that’s not the subject we were discussing.
You claim there is no other life in the universe.
You cannot prove that is the case any more than I can say there is.
However if life formed here under the conditions we know existed for it to form it could certainly form elsewhere.
