During a discussion of Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) banning mask mandates in the state’s public schools on Thursday’s broadcast of CNN’s “Cuomo Primetime,” host Chris Cuomo lamented that “people are still fighting the science” in some states.
After Brown University School of Public Health Dean Dr. Ashish Jha argued against Texas’ ban on the mask mandates, Cuomo asked, “How much progress are we making if people are still fighting the science at the state level?”

When I was teaching in high school, I always warned my students to be careful about scientific discussions in the public sphere. Where power and money are involved, dishonesty can readily take hold.
For the past 4 years, I get up every morning at 2am and spend the first 3 hours of my day working out and exercising. I walk/hike an average of 10 miles a day. I also fast for 18-20 hours a day and make sure I cover all my bases as far as my nutrition. I have a strong immune system, no underlying conditions and I’m the healthiest I’ve ever been at 40 years old. I do not listen to the government or the media when it comes to my health, and I have zero reasons to get the vaccine or worry about Covid. How’s that for science Cuomo?

Where is this mysterious “Science” that demonstrates a diaper on your face will prevent the transmission of a respiratory virus?? Where is it?
We were in Texas last week and it was refreshing coming from an oppressive state. Masks were optional and a choice as they should have always been.
“Follow the science”, blah blah blah. Whatever.
The three most murderous movements of of the last 100 years were state communism, nazism, and the American eugenics movement. All three literally had “science” as their centerpiece. Their propaganda was always cast as “we are only following pure science. This allowed them to be innocent of wrongdoing. They were innocent followers of science... never tyrants.

What “science” regarding masks is Cuomo referring to???
The science..... the science says masks do not stop the virus because the virus is smaller then what a mask can stop. The science says the prime location for virus to enter the body is via the eye. The virus is attracted to the ACE-2 protein in the eye. So if they want to use science, then a shield would be required!
