THE DEEP UNPOPULARITY OF KAMALA HARRIS

To me, Kamala Harris was one of the mysteries of the 2020 election cycle. She seemed to check a lot of boxes, and I saw her as an attractive candidate who had a good shot–maybe the best–at the Democratic presidential nomination. Instead, her campaign crumbled out of the starting gate, and notwithstanding ample initial fundraising, she didn’t make it to the Iowa caucuses. Despite having a number of superficial advantages, to paraphrase the old joke about dog food, the voters just didn’t like her.

Now, a YouGov poll finds Harris under water, with 41% viewing her favorably and 48% unfavorably. The Washington Examiner points out that this negative perception contrasts strongly with other recent vice presidents. Dick Cheney, Mike Pence and Joe Biden himself, in 2009, all polled quite a bit better at a similar stage.

Harris has never shown much skill or appeal as a politician. Her path to the top in California, essentially a one-party state at this point, was paved by her illicit relationship with Willie Brown. I am not sure what it is about Harris that repels voters, but it should scare the Democrats. It is highly unlikely that Joe Biden will be a candidate for re-election in 2024, assuming he survives that long.

Heck, Tulsi Gabbard destroyed Harris on the debate stage. But in all likelihood, the Democrats are stuck with her. If Biden dies or becomes incapacitated between now and 2024, Harris will be the incumbent. If Biden survives but graciously steps down after one term, it would be fratricidal for the Democrats to try to push Harris aside and nominate someone else. So, for better or worse, the Democrats are probably stuck with her.

Heels-Up Kamala Harris is the pluperfect example of The Peter Principle. I can't think of anyone who has taken the Peter Principle as far as her.

I love how they use the word, “if”. The real word is “when”. Riddle me this? When in American history has a Vice President had a 100% chance of becoming president at the time they became Vice President? Answer, Gerald Ford and Kamala Harris. No matter what anybody thinks about her, she will be our next President. It doesn’t matter how many people like her, the Democrats can get a head of cabbage elected President and all they have to is keep her in a basement to do it.

When she first got the nomination I thought Harris was an overly ambitious Hillary Clinton type who schemed and plotted her way into the the 2nd slot.

I changed my view, she couldn't scheme her way into a clown convention. She's not very bright or articulate and has very little political skill and talent.

Which means, the only reason she got the nomination was the Soros crew wanted an easily manipulated puppet #2 in place in case mindless puppet #1 (Biden) needed to be replaced.

Her entire career was based on what she achieved on her knees. She’s a graduate from one of those historically black college degree mills and a law school I’ve never heard of. She then advanced her career using sex. You see how she clings to men? She knows how to work them.

I did too - until I heard her trying to talk. Aside from the fact that she is a blockhead, she is also one of those rare individuals without even an iota of charisma. There is nothing about this woman that would make anyone want to spend more than 1 second listening to what she has to say. She's a dumber version of Hillary Clinton with a talent for laughing idiotically at the wrong moment.
