A 2014 Atlantic report claimed Hamas fighters regularly 'burst into the AP’s Gaza bureau and threaten the staff—and the AP wouldn’t report it'
The Associated Press came under fire Saturday for claiming to be unaware that they were sharing office space with Hamas militants in Gaza, dismissing the Israeli government's claim that the terror group was operating inside the media building that was destroyed in an airstrike over the weekend.
Multiple international media organizations were reportedly based in the Al-Jalaa tower, among them AP and Al Jazeera. Occupants were reportedly notified to evacuate an hour before the building was attacked by Israeli airstrikes in a retaliatory attack against the militant group.
The Israeli Defense Forces in a statement said that the high rise was targeted because it was being used by Hamas military intelligence. AP condemned Israel for the attack and claimed to have "no indication" that the U.S. designated terrorist organization operated from the building.

If this is true, they are lousy investigative reporters.
Come on! Did any one from AP ever look at the Building Directory that in all tall buildings is right there on the first floor by the elevators?
Those Building Directories list all tenants in the building, the floor they are on and their office number.
Clueless? Evil? of maybe BOTH?
They are full of it.
Are they trying to say that AP is NOT the media wing of Hammas?
LOL!
It just makes sense for a terror organization to co-locate their press mouthpieces in the same building. Keeps the FAX bill down. :)

Did the Associated Press, the venerable American agency that is one of the world’s biggest news providers, collaborate with the Nazis during World War II? A report and new counter-report on this subject offer a few striking lessons—not just for students of history but for anyone concerned with the way news coverage shapes our perception right now.
A paper last year by the German historian Harriet Scharnberg titled “The A and P of Propaganda” and published in Studies in Contemporary History makes the case that beginning in the mid-1930s, the AP’s photo office in Germany made compromise after compromise to keep reporting under Nazi rule, obeying successive orders from the Hitler regime until it ended up as a Nazi information arm in all but name. Remaining in Berlin after its competitors departed in 1935 allowed the AP to serve as a “key channel” for German propaganda, she wrote, an arrangement the New York-based agency was eager to preserve—even if it meant removing all of its Jewish photographers in keeping with Nazi race laws, for example, and even if it meant issuing a statement to the official SS magazine swearing that the photo bureau was pure Aryan.
In the Nazi years, according to Scharnberg, the AP was selling German images in the United States and selling images from the United States in Germany, allowing photographs of American Jews and others to be used in some of the vilest racial propaganda produced by the Nazi state. The AP was, for example, the “leading supplier” of images for a propaganda book called The Jews in the USA, and in third place among suppliers of photos for the book The Subhuman.
The former AP building in Gaza:
Associated Press CEO Gary Pruitt Confirms the AP Works/worked in the former Hamas Operated Facility!
Can they hit the AP offices in DC too?
Who cares either way? That the AP has an office in Gaza means they are a Hamas mouthpiece and a legitimate target.
I am a big fan Of William Shirers Rise and Fall of the Third Reich, but IMO there is no way he got to write such an accurate first hand account of the Nazis without collusion! The same can’t be said of the AP Hamas propanganda arm, because they will never admit the crimes against humanity and will cover it up to save their sorry azzes!
Well, that explains their usual “completely lost” point of view on most stories!
I am shocked to hear this, shocked I say.
I never get tired of watching that Tower of Babel collapse
AP Lies.
Who the hell with the freedom to travel around the world would ever want to reside in that hell on earth called Gaza?
Answer: sympathizers
gonna need a bigger bomb for that.
