We’ll find out that Hunter sits on the board of Dark Side, with 10 to 20 percent of his earnings going to The Big Guy.

See, that is the fun thing about the Internet...we can all be celebrities world wide!

Some years back, there was a news item that went world wide, where a female flight attendant and a married male pilot were having a fling with each other during a bitter cold weather-induced forced stayover in February down near Philadelphia.

They were both fired from their jobs at the airline (Him for violating the “throttle-to-bottle” rule, her for conduct unbecoming a flight attendant, or whatever they call that...)

The story starts with the local fire chief who hears noise in his garage, and when he turns on the light, he finds a completely naked woman stumbling around in the dark, intoxicated to the point she can barely speak and is incomprehensible. But he figures out she is trying to find a flashlight.

The police show up, and they finally determine she and some guy were out in the sub-zero woods having sex, and he passed out. She apparently lost track of him in the deep woods, and came to find a flashlight to go find him. So they go back out, but they can’t find him.

They have to get search parties, dogs, helicopters with infra-red gear to find him, because if they don’t get to him quickly, he could very likely die of exposure.

They did find him butt-naked in the woods, and it ended up in the disciplinary side of the airline...and they were fired.

This became a world wide story, and...a source of much entertainment for people from Indiana to Indonesia.

Point was, if this had happened in the past, it might have been a somewhat local story. But with the magic of the Internet, they became...immortal.

>...this woman is washing her car at the gas pump with gasoline...

I saw film from a model T Ford plant taken pre-WWI and they prepped the chassis in the paint room by spraying it with gasoline. The worker did not have any special clothing not use any breathing equipment in the enclosed room.

I'll bet he's dead.

She meant gas was expensive from what it was averaging before Biden stole the election. It's been $2.85 for weeks here too. That's not gouging from the pipeline hack that caused this shortage on the east coast. IOW, it was already that expensive before the hack.

The difference between 2.90 versus 2.85 on an 18 gal. tank fill up is only 90 cents. Not an arm and a leg unless you drive a lot. Fortunately, we don't. It was just under 1.80 a year ago. Most of the increase has been since Biden has phuqued things up.

We use gas for our farm equipment and filling up our two cars every couple of months or so.

"Not an arm and a leg unless you drive a lot."

I've been retired since 2003, so the only places I drive is to my doctor appointments, the grocery store once or twice a week, a visit every-now-and then to see my oldest son who lives 90 miles away, and once a year to visit my youngest son who lives in Indiana. I recently offered to visit my oldest son, but he asked if he could come here, because he works at home all week, and never gets to drive the new VW Tiguan he leased last fall. I leased for the first time in September of 2019, and only have about 5,000 miles on the car.

I will follow federal guidelines.

I will put my gasoline in a bottle, sealed with paraffin with a wick.

The federal government has to to warn people about this??? We are really screwed.

Probably the same people who are refusing the vaccine because it's too dangerous.

We're retired too and without a commute, our driving is almost nil. Our adult daughter lives 5 miles away from our farm.

I pity people with long commutes and/or those who have cars that aren't fuel efficient.

I spend more money on gas for my zero-turn lawnmower to mow 4 hours a week than I do on gas for my old pickup.

I wonder if it's still okay for me to use a knife to get a speck of dirt out of my eye.

Normally I would say it was OK but not if you have Parkinson's disease..........

But, I am not in any position to tell anyone what they can or should not do.........
