Residents of several mixed cities in Israel, led by Lod and Acre, sadly recounted last night (Wednesday) how their neighborhoods became a battlefield and the neighbors next to them lived peacefully to attackers seeking to harm them. "We returned home at 22:00 after an incident and saw 20 people lighting a tree that reached up to our windows - they tried to set fire to our apartment through the tree," said one of them, Yigal, a resident of the Ramat Eshkol neighborhood in Lod. "They were with knives, but luckily I have a gun license and I pulled it out."

Someone years ago on FR posted a description of what happened in the Middle East over a hundred years ago.
The Christians and Jews got along well with their moslem neighbors.
Then one day the muzzin made a call from a minaret. The moslems went all glassy eyed, pulled out knives and started killing their Christian and Jewish neighbors.
After several hours of murder, the muzzin made another call from the minaret and suddenly the killing stopped.
I always remember that when I see a moslem on the streets.
