actually, i think many dems, or lefty independents don’t really vote at all. the box(es) is just checked for them each election by the party, or the party just manufactures the necessary votes as in election 2020.
the 20% or so of woke (socialist/commie) dems who vote for real, know exactly what they are doing, and are very happy with what’s happening to America. its destruction is their real plan, and that’s the saddest part.

One of the major refineries in Texas has already partially shut down due to this pipeline shutdown.
They only have so much storage capacity, so when the pipeline went down they HAD to shutdown part of the refinery.
How long is it going to take to bring THAT back up?
Automation replaced the personnel of the former command and control system.

I toyed with the idea of what you did as I was living on my grandparent’s non-working farm back in early ‘03. I was going to buy a fuel oil tank and then have ‘offroad’ diesel delivered-at a significant discount-and then running it in the VW. Problem was I could never could find a suitable vehicle close enough to make it worthwhile...

Doing the timing belt/water pump 100K mile maintenance is not really all that much fun. On a warm Summer’s day with a couple of brewskis and the dog hanging about, maybe not so bad. We’ll see.
