The other day I wrote that “Woke” was the new conformism.
It is, of course, but I undersold it. It is much more than that and more dangerous.
As Tal Bachmann notes at Steynonline, it is now our state religion, a state religion in a country that—constitutionally and for good reason—is not supposed to have one.

“Woke” gains adherents much in the manner of “est”—the cult-like Erhard Seminars Training—that I attended in the 1970s at the behest of a movie producer interested in making a film about it. (It never happened.)
If you’re too in, you’re out.
For est, several hundred people sat in a large conference room listening to the “training” for hours under instructions not to get up, even to go to the bathroom, until they raised their hands signaling they “got it” (i. e., effectively joined the cult). Nature’s calling being what it is, most eventually did.
Although operationally similar, “woke” is exponentially more perilous than the now defunct est training. Our position in society, our livelihoods, our childrens’ educations and futures are being held over our heads, not our mere use of a rest room.
An iron-fisted, ideologically extreme minority has our country under its thumb—play along or face excommunication. This is stronger than anything in our history and almost identical to what we see and have seen in totalitarian countries.
It is a psychosis approaching mass hallucination. In Franco’s Spain, they shouted “Viva la muerte!” (“Long live death!”). Here we are asked to proclaim just as loudly “Black Lives Matter,” to display signs saying as much on our lawns, although we never thought otherwise, always thought (naively, we are told) that all lives mattered.

Don’t know about that...but one thing is certain. You can no longer have a rational, logical discussion with one that has become “woke, indoctrinated, or has drank the cool-aid any longer’! Age will not change them...common sense will not invade their brain. Many don’t have children or are already ‘indocing’ them!
But some of them do love their wealth...and when they are attack for that...they may see the how wrong they have been BUT they are such pussies (along with most on the right these days) and naive they are no asset to us even then! Only the BLM crazy’s are dumb and trained enough to think they really want a blood letting!
Woe is the country, freedom, rights and everything else it has stood for!
You know we are moving into tyranny when facts are established by legislation, whether it is enforced critical race theory in schools, disparate impact theory judicially legislated as fact that racism is the reason minorities fall behind, etc. Red states resist this crap. Blue states embrace it

We make the woketards,Antifa and the BLM as the boogieman. They all need to be punched back hard but for various reasons they are facing little substantial pushback.
As a kid I remember my dumbass father being part of that est BS. Even made us kids participate somewhat. He was always an idiot who could always be counted on to make the worst possible decisions in every situation.

Wokeism will get in the way of people making a living. The woke mob deliberately infects companies and HR departments to enact their agenda. It has happened to a number of big companies like Coca Cola already. A week ago the CEO of the company I work for sent a full-woke email touting how “we cannot remain silent when faced with such issues” we will “foster a culture that deeply values and respects inclusion, diversity and equity for all” and to expect to receive more information on actions to work towards “a more fair and just society”.
The rumor mill says that there will be strict diversity hiring practices in any job or skill area that does not have proportional representations or the various groups. Seeing as the only non-white person in our Midwest based department just handed notice that he is quitting, we are going to be targeted for rebalancing for inclusivity.
This stuff hits people in the gut where they work and quickly creates a toxic environment.
It will be a short one. Kyle Rittenhous PBUH, took out three of those disgusting terrorists with well placed shots. All ‘we’ have to do is stop freight trucks and shut off the water supplies to the blue cities infested with the BLM antifa thugs.
