Arkansas Republican Gov. Asa Hutchinson said Wednesday evening that it's a "bad look" for the GOP to move on ousting Rep. Liz Cheney from party leadership amid her continued opposition to former President Donald Trump.
"In terms of Liz Cheney, she's a conservative, she did a vote of conscience and she should not be ousted because of one vote of conscience," Hutchinson told CNN's Erin Burnett on "OutFront" of Cheney's vote to impeach Trump after the January 6 insurrection at the US Capitol. "And regardless of the reasons of what's going to happen in the vote, and it sounds like she's almost recognizing that she's going to be replaced -- but this is going to be perceived by the American body politic as an ouster because of one vote. I don't think this is healthy for our party -- that perception. We've got to get back to talking about ideas and how to unify ourselves."

This is just theater... Cheney never had any business in leadership.. but this removal is just theater to pander to the base.. reality is Cheney is right where the establishment/Uniparty lives...
She’s not being removed because they disagree with her, she is being removed because they know they need to throw something out to placate the base... It won’t change a damn thing, in terms or the GOPe/Uniparty changing their behavior

Recall that Hutchinson was the first Undersecretary for Border and Transportation Security at the United States Department of Homeland Security (2003–2005). That was in the Bush 2 administration.
Hutchinson did little regarding border issues, as the GWB admin was fully ‘open borders’ with 4 attempts at getting amnesty during GWB’s 2 terms.
The bad look is Asa’s television evangelist/ used car salesman hair style.

IIRC, Asa was one of the House impeachment managers against Clinton. So was Lindseed Graham. Asa was also a prosecutor under DOJ, and we know the crooked reputation that bureaucracy has.

Thats what she wants. She is not on our side. Probably being paid off with Soros or China money, who knows probably the same thing... The democrat Liz Cheney has to be dealt with and removed no matter how much she cries, and we must make sure we never make this kind of mistake again.
