Arkansas GOP governor says fight over Cheney's place in party leadership a 'bad look' for Republicans

Arkansas Republican Gov. Asa Hutchinson said Wednesday evening that it's a "bad look" for the GOP to move on ousting Rep. Liz Cheney from party leadership amid her continued opposition to former President Donald Trump.

"In terms of Liz Cheney, she's a conservative, she did a vote of conscience and she should not be ousted because of one vote of conscience," Hutchinson told CNN's Erin Burnett on "OutFront" of Cheney's vote to impeach Trump after the January 6 insurrection at the US Capitol. "And regardless of the reasons of what's going to happen in the vote, and it sounds like she's almost recognizing that she's going to be replaced -- but this is going to be perceived by the American body politic as an ouster because of one vote. I don't think this is healthy for our party -- that perception. We've got to get back to talking about ideas and how to unify ourselves."

“ At one time, Asa was a reliable conservative. When did he go off the rails?”

Follow the money—-Our-Kansas is the home of the oldest and king globalist corporation in the world.

You remember the company that pushed their former Governor to drive the penultimate dream of the former CIA head GHW Bush known as NAFTA.

The deal that turned this nation into a service economy buying everything from China via 🇨🇦 and 🇲🇽.

That is what happens to politicians that demonstrate effectiveness. They get bought and then get bent.

This guy is an embarrassment. A true embarrassment.

I hope Huckabee Sanders mops the floor with him, if he actually runs. Which I think will be doubtful.

If it’s a bad look, then the jackass party really needs a good touch up. They look like a dead Dorian Gray.

In my opinion, Liz Cheney is unhinged. A case of serious Donald Trump derangement syndrome. She voted to impeach the President and support the Big Lie, and now it continues to be the center of everything she talks about. She cant get #45 out of her head.

It’s a bad look to represent your base and to remove those who don’t? Typical GOPe opinion.

Does anyone realize that lawmakers aren’t sent to Washington to vote for what they want.. but to vote for what their constituents hired them to vote for?

Looks like genitalia is the new resume enhancement. A vagina can only be replaced by its kind. I like Stefanik, but do not have complete knowledge of her stances.

From a column at Revolver.news this morning: 'In what can only be described as the zenith of congressional GOP retardation, our team of Keystone Republicans are seeking to replace Liz Cheney with yet another neocon establishment nitwit...Elise Stefanik.'

Even War Room's Raheem Kasaam was 'cool' to the idea. If you are pro-Stefanik, you might want to read this Revolver article first.

Term limits did Asa in. Walmart offered a lifeline after the governorship . . . with strings.

Once you get outside the DC Beltway the common voter’s concern over this falls off exponentially ! By the time you get 100 miles. It’s who cares or who’s that!

Please. Someone who never had any business In leadership being removed isn’t a bad look...

This woman was put in leadership the minute she showed up.. had no qualifications or experience just put there because of who her daddy is when she walked through the door...

Her being in leadership at all tells you all you need to know about the GOPe/Uniparty... wins a district a game sand which would win as long as it has an R beside its name and boom “Hi there, first time? Welcome oh why don’t you go up and teach the class”

Beyond moronic that she was EVER in that role... just because of who daddy is.. that’s it... far as I see it this is correcting something that should have never been done.. with or without the impeachment vote and trump comments she had no business being in a leadership role.
