He will wait for the party and voters to select their favorite and then he will endorse, very smart politics. Liz will not be reelected. They can’t wait for the “voters” to make a decision. They have to clear out the primary field BEFORE the primary so there is only ONE challenger and Cheney doesn’t have an opportunity to win the primary with just 25% of the vote against multiple challengers.
Wyoming doesn’t have a runoff election. Whoever has the most votes in the primary wins.
