The Lincoln Project is taunting former President Trump in a new attack ad, saying the former president got "played" by the Republican establishment in Washington, D.C.
"The swamp won, Donald," a narrator says as the ad opens with clips of snapping turtles, alligators and other swamp-dwelling animals pouncing on unsuspecting prey.
"Mitch McConnell's Washington consultants are making big money using your name," it continues. "We don't know if Mitch gets a cut. But what do you think, Donald?"
The video then shows a clip of McConnell (R-Ky.), the Senate minority leader, pledging support for Trump at last year's Republican National Convention and calling the former president "my friend Donald Trump."
"You're getting played," the ad says. "He's picking candidates loyal to him. They brought you a little bowl to hold in your little hands, and you fell for it."

I would agree. And selecting judges vetted by the Federalist Society and approved by McConnell sealed his fate.
It's helpful to know that when Obama landed in DC, his first move was to take control of (A) The US Treasury, and (B) the Census.
That’s an interesting item brought up by Barnes, but I’m not sure how that connection can be made. The election is in November, while the census data is collected months earlier.
There is a giant different losing and having a victory stolen from you. I believe Sidney Powell. I believe Lin Wood. I believe the video evidence in Georgia, the audit out of Michigan, the whistle blowers who came forward. Dont ever say that Trump lost 2020. That is the lie DC politicans the media and some very corrupt people would have us all believe. If 2020 is accepted as legit, the USA is done.
Since Trump is no longer the acting President, he lost by whatever means. That he lost is what will go down in history. Get used to it.
The one trying to profit off of Trump is that RNC chairman, Rona Romney-person. The Lincoln project looks like it is trying to be relevant by offering cover to Romney-world while trying to taunt Trump into taking out McConnell, which is the big stumbling block for the Democratic agenda right now.
H.R. 1 wants to stack the deck permanently AGAINST any conservative running in the future. One-party rule can be a chore to achieve, but proof that can be done is seen in just about every major metropolitan region in this country.
The Lincoln Project is just one branch of this effort.

McConnell was polling 18% approval prior to his 2020 re-election. Democrats screamed voter fraud..... then stopped when Trump said same things. Wonder how Mitch got re-elected with so many people against him. Is it possible the same tools were used nation wide?
The Lincoln project people are establishment Republicans that have been making money throwing the average American under the bus for many years, while they took power and money. Sounds just like Democrats and establishment Republicans have that in common.
At least they admit the swamp exists. And most importantly are admitting that they are the swamp. Not sure how they think this is a good sales pitch.

Trump is politically very much alive, and has shown a propensity to learn from his mistakes. History will say he lost......but the “any means” thing is the rub. Americans don’t like cheaters and losers, and the Democrats could be tagged with both before the end of the next election cycle. The big lie, will be the fulcrum.

It’s not over for POTUS. His support with We the People has not waned. The only voices of opposition are Cheap Labor proponents, Democrats, and Establishment Republicans. Their voices get weaker by the day.
