There are growing concerns that the mass retirements of police officers throughout the country may lead to a national public safety crisis.
Between losing experienced law enforcement personnel and not having enough officers, some are suggesting the mass exodus will compromise people’s safety, especially in major U.S. cities.

The solution is for the police to retreat. . .stay in the precinct building and let “survival of the fittest” cull the herd. The role of law enforcement is meant for a civil society. When society is no longer civil, than it is only the laws of nature that will rule over humans as mere animals. . .the only problem, humans were destined for something higher than to be ruled by a “survival of the fittest” rule of the jungle. . that is, when humans reduce themselves to animal-status. ..we become not animals, but rather, evil monsters.

You are right. That is what the left wants to change.
We've really only seen evidences of a federal police force when Biden and the Rats overthrew our government last January and had 25,000 National Guard troops lockdown the capital.
But the NG has been largely absent and non effective in the hundreds of riots in our cities over the last year.
Seems to me the left's grand plan is to allow the left to BLM* our leftist cities until they are no more.
I'm beginning to think I like that plan. Let's just hope they're not stupid enough to then come after normal America.

Democrats are also putting in prosecutors who keep criminals OUT on jail and on the streets.

I’ve been fortunate enough to live normally in normal American communities with nice normal cops.

We are passed the point of return. $28+ Trillion national debt, $162+ Trillion unfunded liabilities, leftist on the march, inflation beginning to rise, 30 million illegals about to be granted amnesty and thousands continuing to pour across the border. Trillions for Greenie weenie / Infrastructure debacle, rising fuel prices. Not to mention yet another multi-trillion dollar war on the horizon.

To protect and SERVE should have meaning. If you can’t be a decent human being to the people you serve, GTFO.
I’m pretty sure around here we have a couple of guys in the heart of the city who have appointed themselves as the mover on of the homeless, and as deplorable as their actions have been, its a fact that people can walk freely now without encountering needles or tiptoeing around addicts.
Local cops will be nonexistent, replaced by paid mercenaries protecting the elites. There will be federal cops, yes, but not on every street corner. Why wouldn't the rent-a-cops and the feds just let the peons stab each other, if that's what they want? The masses will be on their own.
Federal cops will only do the important things, like collecting taxes, counting votes, and quelling active rebellion against the state. If you can't afford your own protection, you won't have any.
Law and order will only exist inside castle walls. They called it feudalism back then...
