W is obsessed with this issue. Time and again since he left office this amnesty, open borders push is the thing that brings him back before the public again and again to push for amnesty and call those opposed xenophobes, protectionists, nationalists, etc., etc.

Goes way back to before he left office. When he won his second term he said "I have political capitol and I intent to spend it". We all assumed he was going to do things he promised to but they are all lies. In fact he had just one goal that he kept trying to ram through, over and over and over and over: amnesty. He blew his entire second term on ever expanding war and telling his base to F-off and accept amnesty.

The result was that we all saw that he hated us, and now most have come around to making it mutual.
