A couple of things here. If you want to get out of a jury trial, simply tell the judge that you fear that you and your family may be harassed if you don't come to the "right" decision.

The lady being interviewed is not saying that SHE made this statement, it was one of the jury members who made the statement voicing fear about people coming to their house.

Well, she just went from the frying pan into the fire. This is grounds for a mistrial, and she is going to have to reveal which juror made that statement. Whether she identifies that person or not, it isn't going to stop people from coming to her house. They are NOT going to let her live in peace now that she can identify the person who may cause this case to be thrown out, or be retried.

The Uniparty cabal is trying to determine how long they need to leave Officer Chauvin in prison, violating his rights, before they “allow” him file for the mistrial. This interviewee just threw a wrench in the game plan and it’s going to cost the city of Minneapolis.

I’m not an attorney but I agree this is just one more reason, in addition to the media publishing juror profiles, that the verdict will be overturned on appeal. And I suspect there are other reasons the defense will use as well.

How do we know the case will even be appealed? The lawyers and judges can be harassed and threatened more easily than the jurors.

Didn’t we all kind of know this, from day one?

Personally, I believe this will be appealed, regardless of the possibility of threats to attorneys and judges.

They will allow him to appeal, 50 years after his death. But then again, maybe not.

Are we a nation whose pines are made of linguini? This must be the most cowardly moments of any century. This is the legacy of our new, 21st century.

What makes you think the appeals judges in Minnesota will act in accordance with the law?

“How do we know the case will even be appealed?”

I heard the defence attorney say they going to appeal during an interview on the radio.

Chauvin’s defense attorney should have DEMANDED, and received, a change of venue. His failure to do so, alone, should be grounds for appeal. IMO

It is obvious that you have never been a defendant in a criminal trial, I have and your lawyer does not DEMAND anything from the GOD, aka the Trial Judge.

If he does, you lose everything from then on out, and you will regret your DEMAND.

Think about what you write before you post it.

What if the appeal judges say they don’t want protesters showing up at THEIR houses either?

One juror: "I did not want to go through rioting and destruction again and I was concerned about people coming to my house if they were not happy with the verdict."

Guaranteed mistrial.

In fact, not sure Chauvin will ever be able to get a fair trial.
