USA Today: Rifles Used in Fed-Ex Attack Were Purchased ‘Legally’

USA Today reports that alleged Fed-Ex attacker Brandon Scott Hole used two rifles to carry out his heinous act and both guns were purchased “legally.”

USA Today notes that Hole purchased one rifle in July 2020 and the other in September 2020.

Breitbart News reported that the March 22, 2021, Boulder attacker bought his gun “legally” too, as did the March 16, 2021, Atlanta-area gunman.

In fact, the overwhelming majority of high profile attackers acquire their guns by complying with background checks, rather than going around them.

Here is a just a partial list of other attackers who got their guns by complying with gun control laws:

Parkland high school attacker (February 14, 2018) Texas church attacker (November 5, 2017) Las Vegas attacker (October 1, 2017) Alexandria attacker (June 14, 2017)) Orlando attacker (June 12, 2016) UCLA gunman (June 1, 2016)) San Bernardino attackers (December 2, 2015) Colorado Springs attacker (October 31, 2015) Umpqua Community College attacker (October 1, 2015) Alison Parker’s attacker (August 26, 2015) Lafayette movie theater attacker (July 23, 2015) Chattanooga attacker (July 16, 2015) Alleged Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal attacker (Jun 17, 2015) Muhammad Carton Contest attackers (May 3, 2014) Las Vegas cop killers (June 9, 2015) Santa Barbara attacker (May 23, 2014) Fort Hood attacker (April 2, 2014) Arapahoe High School attacker (December 13, 2013) D.C. Navy Yard attacker (September 16, 2013) Aurora movie theater attacker (July 20, 2012) Gabby Giffords’ attacker (January 8, 2011) Fort Hood attacker (November 5, 2009) Northern Illinois University attacker (February 14, 2008) Virginia Tech attacker (April 16, 2007).

Yet President Joe Biden and his fellow Democrats continue to push background checks as a solution to high profile firearm-related attacks.

THIS dude was “known to the FBI” as a potentially dangerous person, and yet, he cleared the process for purchasing useful objects without a problem. I wonder why?

1. He was “known to the FBI” only because someone reported him.

2. He was a law-abiding citizen, and therefore his right to keep and bear arms could not be infringed.

“Virtually all murders or killings are done with legally purchased items.”

I thought most murders in the USA were committed by gang bangers and thugs in Chicago, NYC, LA, using illegal/stolen guns. Their weapons, in these cases, were already illegally obtained and possessed under literally hundreds of local and federal laws, while our leftist tyrants continue to turn these scum loose after every single arrest while they push for still more “laws” in their real quest, to remove guns only from honest law abiding citizens like us. At least thats the way I have always viewed it.

There is probably a file on this perp, somewhere in the fbi droogworks. That there was no flag put on his profiled ID indicates the fbi had a future expectation of his actions that they wanted to happen. The federal agency known as fbi is an enemy of we the people, a gestapo style org for dnc use.

Ironic most mass murderer psychopaths are known to the F. I. B as person of interest.

Better idea. But people will say that it’s like the old west. I don’t have a problem with it. And yeah there are a lot of medical professionals that may not want guns. Was just wondering about psychiatrists being able to evaluate somehow. These shooters usually have some kind of mental problem and had been to see a shrink at some point.

That would be the solution, but it requires focusing on individuals by a party devoted to worshipping the collective and despising the individual. Much easier to pass collective bans than to waste time on petty individuals. Besides, where’s the money in doing things case by case, when you can create an agency, plop your buddies at the top and feed them billions to skim and kick back?

The Federal Bureau of Ignorance knew this guy was crazy and stupid, yet they did nothing.

We don't need more gun laws. We need to purge the fbi of men who wear dresses; dykes who look like men; all o'bummer appointees; etc. We need to force the fbi to return to a reputable entity. As it is, around here, we call them the "CPSD." The "Clinton Private Security Detail."

So many of theses shooters were “on the FBI radar” yet they did nothing to stop them.

A friend of mine gets stopped each time he tries to legally buy a firearm, but is cleared several days later.

He has no criminal record but his name is the same as another who is a felon.

***Yet President Joe Biden and his fellow Democrats continue to push background checks as a solution to high profile firearm-related attacks.***

And THIS is what Biden said in 2013.

***But isn’t interesting how many psychos come out of the woodwork when the Democrats are in gun grabbing mode.***

I remember when California proposed a AW ban but shelved it. Then they released Pat Purdy from a mental institution, allowed him to violate federal and state laws, passing the waiting periods and buy guns. He then shot up the Stockton school killing several students and himself. He was infatuated with toy soldiers.

The shelved gun bill was pulled out and passed so fast no opposition could be mounted against it.

When they shelved the bill a few months earlier I had a suspicion that a shooting there would happen within a few months. It did.

According to an article I read the shotgun was removed from the house and he was committed to psychiatric evaluation. Unless he already had the other one and they didn’t find it or the eval was done after he purchased the second one he lied on the 4473 form making the second purchase illegal.

Either way, Indiana's red flag law (which Slow Joe wishes to impose on all 50 states) FAILED. I'm sure the explanation will be a creative one.

The U.S. is probably unique in the world as a country where it is supposed to be damn near impossible for the government to deprive a person of any rights BEFORE a crime has been committed.

That is why — absent a public statement by this guy or a psychiatric evaluation where he threatened to harm himself and/or others — the FBI was powerless to do anything about him even if they were 99% certain he was a problem.

I suspect the contradiction is because most of the gang killings are simply never solved, so the method of weapon acquisition can’t be determined conclusively, even though we all kind of intuitively know ...

Right, scary how many people on this thread are crying out for the FBI to violate rights to “solve” this issue.

The point I was trying to make was the headline spin that Gun Laws wouldn’t stop this violence but outlawing and seizing all guns would.
